I started getting a sinking feeling when the word that Yunieski Gonzalez was turned downed.

I would have been cool with a top 10-15ish opponent at LHW.

This fight just makes 0 fucking sense.

We all know that film don't we ......Wayne's world .....well there's a remake called ....Wards's world it's about this former world champion boxer who refuses to fight a decent opponent and travels round the back alleys and derelict buildings for the most suitable hobo and garbage dweller...all the goons who actually support this tool of a fighter will probably go watch Ward's world ......Jesus a weight below and not even ranked 30 in that division...p4p king my ass lol....looks like the world of ward and his fans is crumbling in front of there very own eyes ....Ward's world. Ward's world .

Not in his mind. He'll even tell you that kovalev avoided mohammedi for two years as his mandatory, even though he wasn't the champ for that time, and only fought him to avoid Stevenson.

No idea, but there has to be a reason for why he's trying to take on multiple soft touches and forcing these guys out of their own weight classes.

I heard that he barely sparred if at all during his break and right now he is not handling shots too well in sparring.

So he might have lost a lil something their.

I'm okay with a tune up for your first fight at 175, but why not fight against an actual 175 lber?

Can't you get someone like a Ryno Liebenberg, or even Dominic Boesel who is ranked 33rd by boxrec? That would seem like the best way to prepare for LHW.

sure, but there are levels to boxing and there are a good couple of them between pascal and this murdock fella. ward-pascal would have been a real nice fight imo. i would have had nothing but praisefor him if he took that as his introduction to 175 lbs (although i guess the purses would be too big for it to feature on an undercard)

Something tells me that had this been certain other fighters you wouldnt be so forgiving and trying to shift blame to the network.
HBO approved this fight that means they wanted it. Nevada banned it. None of you are killing HBO for allowing this matchup. If it was on PBC, we know what you would say.

How about we just agree this was a BS fight and we are all glad Nevada cancelled it.
