You're pretending that Golovkin will either try to box and get outboxed or try to swarm Ward and get smothered. In reality, he will blend these techniques. And he'll win.

Not a doubt in my mind.
    BwaHAHAhahahaaahahaHAhahahahaHA!!

What the fck does the way Castillo fought Mayweather have to do with the way Golovkin will fight Ward when Floyd and Andre are two different fighters with two different styles you fckin idiot?!

Anything? No. Cutting off the ring, punching with power, throwing a stiff accurate jab that damages the opponent. Gennady does both of these better.

And? His amateur wins aside, he won't be able to clinch and spoil his way to a victory over Gennady.

I have, and he does it well, but you're acting like only slick boxers can adjust. Obviously you haven't watched enough of Gennady's fights, otherwise you'd know that he adjusts to his opponents as well.

Budump tsss. How long did it take to come up with that gem? Nice counter argument, btw. Let's see how Ward does against a guy with great technique, an iron chin, and power in both hands. Froch wasn't that guy. Neither was Kessler, Abraham, Dawson, or Bika.

And if Ward was as good as you claim, he would fight Kovalev without needing tuneups. But just like Gennady, he wants a fight or two versus decent contenders at the weight before he takes on the best.

Use the same criteria for judging Ward as you use for judging Gennady, k bud?

Are you being serious? Or just trolling, or what?

Castillo (boxer-puncher) gave Mayweather (pure boxer) problems because he was aggressive and in Floyd's face, but not wild. He chased Floyd around the ring, but used body shots, good technique, and a steady work rate to give Floyd all he could handle.

Gennady (boxer-puncher) could use the same kind of strategy against Ward (pure boxer). Admittedly, Floyd and Andre's styles aren't exactly the same, but they're close enough to make the comparison.

I'm trying really hard not to insult the **** out of you. Make a valid argument or stfu and leave the discussion to the adults, Mr. Obvious Alt.

Tell me Cotto isn't praying that he doesn't have to face Golovkin and you might have a point. Oh, wait, that's right, you can't. Cotto will duck Golovkin like the plague if he happens to beat Canelo. The difference between Golovkin and Ward's weight is bigger than the difference between Golovkin and Cotto's weight who currently holds a middleweight title so I'd suggest you stop talking trash about Golovkin since you're an unabashed Cotto fanatic.

You are seriously entering contention for the single dumbest poster on this site. Every post I've read coming from you is loaded with contradictions, endless hyperbole and flat out BS. You've been digging a hole for so long with your nonsensical posts that you can't see the sky anymore. Save yourself the embarrassment and begin to do and say the exact opposite of whatever your instincts tell you because they are all wrong.

What would Kovalev do to paul smith ? well what did Floyd do to hatton and pacquiao do to hatton. What did Floyd do to Pac eventually ? Andre Ward just straight up wins. It might not always be pretty but the guy is a proven winner. I also think the better the competition the better Ward will be.
