Just using Floyd as an example. The opponents that did poorly against him were trying to box him (Canelo, Pac). Maidana, who just went crazy on him, did okay but was still beaten decisively. The guy who did both, Castillo, gave Floyd his toughest fight.

You're pretending that Golovkin will either try to box and get outboxed or try to swarm Ward and get smothered. In reality, he will blend these techniques. And he'll win.

Not a doubt in my mind.

Props to Kovalev for having the balls to take on a difficult fight.

Golovkin will never fight a threat, they wont even risk it with Lara.

Team Golovkin clearly want nothing to do with movers/spoilers.

Sir, your mind is very limited. Anything GGG does Ward does better. He will not outthink Ward in any contest. Ward is a lot like FMJ he outthinks his opponent and adjust.

You are talking about a man who hasn't lost since he was an 11 year old boy.

If you have never watch Ward adjust in the ring you just started watching boxing.

If GGG tries to blend anything he would be put in a blender.

You my friend need to understand if GGG and his team was as confident as you they would have fought Ward already.

At 168, no way. 175 Ward goes down.

So Ward is going to fight Rohan Murdock to prepare for Kovalev? Haha.

Ward will not stop into the ring with the Krusher, there will be excuses, justifications and whatever.

If the fight somehow happens, Kovalev will destroy Ward because Ward did do nothing in 4 years and now seems to be like fighting the worst bums boxing has to offer. Paul Smith was already bad, but Rohan Murdock is just WOW.

The difference here is that Golov is 10x the fighter Maidana ever dreamed of being, and he'll likely use proper distance and timing to land big shots on Ward. He won't go too far inside just to have Ward throw short shots or tie him up, and he won't try to jab from the outside either. He'll use his jab effectively, but it won't be his main weapon.

Come on man, if you're going try to talk shít about my guy, you'd better come correct.

Try to box Ward... wtf are you thinking?

An open letter to my S.O.G fans

Firstly I would like to thank all my loyal fans for supporting me during my non existent boxing career over the last 3 years, it's been a long road to get where we are now.
I realise you want me to fight more often but I am always at church ( I am son of God remember ). I have been really ****** these past few weeks with all the talk of Gennady golovkin and wanting to fight him at my own naturally bigger weight. ? A fight with Triple GGG is not gonna happen yet and I know I have to earn the right to face him.
I know I have been wrong in picking on someone who is much smaller than me and I want to apologise to k2 and Abel Sanchez for picking a fight with your smaller guy....I know I have to earn my shot and become known again in the boxing world and no way do I deserve a fight with the mighty triple GGG till I have more relevant victories and have decided to man up and face the best fighter in my division which is Sergey kovalev...it's gonna be hard night I know but I will try my best....I just want to say to all my S.O.G fans stop arguing about triple GGG and me as I have to let it go and fight a guy my own size...

All my thanks. ANDRE S.O.G WARD

That could happen, but Kov seems to follow trainer instructions better than the majority of fighters. And Jackson so far has come up with some great fight plans. I'm thinking Kov UDs Ward with a knockdown or two along the way. But I think Ward schools GGG. In fact, the next fighter to work GGGs body like they should, gives him fits all night.

The big challenges are coming for GGG. He'll win most, but not all IMO.

Smfh. Pay attention. When he fights Ward, Gennady isn't going to work behind the jab from the outside, like the way pure boxers typically fight. He won't try to outbox Ward, which was suggested in the thread.

Read and try to comprehend before you talk ****.
