Is true, not only beat him but knock him out. Ward can't make 168 anymore, he can only do the Cotto catch weight for so long till the fans demand he fights the best at 175. And when they do he has to officially campaign at light heavy and when he does. Kovalev will destroy him. He could beat Stevenson and just avoid Kovalev with that one belt just as super woman Stevenson is doing.

Why the fúck would anyone try to outbox Ward? Who did better against Floyd, Canelo trying to box him or Maidana trying to smother him and throw wild shots?

The difference here is that Golov is 10x the fighter Maidana ever dreamed of being, and he'll likely use proper distance and timing to land big shots on Ward. He won't go too far inside just to have Ward throw short shots or tie him up, and he won't try to jab from the outside either. He'll use his jab effectively, but it won't be his main weapon.
