New Names Up For HOF Vote

This year's Modern ballot has three new names for consideration:

Hector Camacho
Yuri Arbachakov
Sot Chitalada

Do you think it would make the IBHOF more exclusive if it every 4-5 years instead of every year? That way writers would be more picky about it and not just any fighrer could be considered?

Not just any fighter is. This is the second year since they split and realigned the Old Timer category. Lots of new names in the last two years like Benn, Eubank, these three, Julian Jackson...all names overdue and/or worthy of being put to a vote.

AND...

There wouldn't be a HOF if they did what you just suggested. They couldn't afford to keep it open.

I used to love Yuri Arbachakov! He won't make it in the HOF, but he was an excellent fighter in his day.

Hernandez doesn't belong in the hall of fame, it would be shameful if he was inducted.

I love Chicanito and respect his career but I don't think he's a hall of famer.

A guy who seems to not get attention for the hall is Tony the Tiger Lopez. A three time world champion, a fight of the year winner with Rocky lockridge in a fight he won. He beat Jorge Paez when he was at the top. Had two great fights against Brian Mitchell(draw and loss), who is a hall of famer. And Tony Lopez had many other great wins against top Comp.

I think he's a better candidate to get in over Chicanito.

Too many hall of famers imo. Yearly inductees make it so that there are a pack of fillers that were not really great.
