Lol. That wouldn't surprise me. I'm not saying Ward is a coward, that would be ridiculous. But if you look at his record, one thing is clear - he doesn't like taking risky fights, and if he does take a risky fight, it has to be on his terms.
Ward gets $2million from Roc for fighting cans. Kovalev has never made more than $3million in his career. That was vs Pascal, who brings a lot more money to the table than Ward.
There isn't enough money in Kovalev/Ward to meet Andre's financial expectations, unless Kovalev gives him at least 50% of the purse, and why the fuck would he want to do that?
Kovalev's titles would be on the line, and Ward's wouldn't. Krusher would be the defending champion and undisputed A side, entitled to expect Ward to agree to his terms if he wants a crack at those titles.
