Or are you still pretending that it said something else?

At the end of the day though, regardless of what the terms were, there was no willingness to do a deal from Team GGG. It was turned down instantly.

    Their answer was "maybe 2017"
because it was a garbage deal, and since Lemieux had already been signed, GGG had no interest in ANY fight outside 160 at that time.

And turning it down "instantly" was actually a courtesy. The offer really didnt even warrant any response other than "delete".

Those two items were public knowledge and widely reported. No fighter is going to commit to a fight with Ward in 2016 when they're expecting to be on call for the winner of Cotto/Alvarez in 2016. Ward knew they'd turn it down, especially at a 50/50 purse cut...

If Andre Ward seriously wanted to fight Golovkin, he would've pushed for the fight in March 2015, because in October 2014 he sent the email to read on HBO after Golovkin/Rubio - "Anyplace, anytime, anywhere". How come 5 months after Ward said that, he suddenly needed to take so many tune-ups?
shhhh, the GGG hate squad/Ward apologists dont like facts, and will recoil at the presence of them.

If you think you're being offered a garbage deal, then you try to negotiate a better one.

That's if you want the fight though which Team GGG absolutely do not.

        Maybe 2017. MAYBE....

I'm not even a GG fan, but Ward's obvious BS caught my attention. These types of fakery makes me puke.

well OF COURSE they didnt want the fight at this time. EVERYONE agrees on that point.

But PLEASE explain to me how with one 160 unification already signed, and being the mando for yet another, why on earth would a fight at 168, which wouldnt even happen for close to a year, at a 50-50 split with a weaker economic draw, be of ANY interest whatsoever? Why would it even be worth discussing? (and this is probably a fools errand, but at least TRY to be objective)

Its possible you dont understand American etiquette. You dont openly disrespect an accomplished champion like Hops.

Hint: That was Loefflers polite way of saying "uhmmmmmm, NOPE"

What is GGG going to do after unifying? Hang around to fight Andy Lee or Eubank Jr?

The Ward fight would be the best out there and the one the fans would want to see next.

Propaganda ministers translating what Loeffler really meant now

I don't see what saying "maybe in the future" has to do with respect. If anything that's disrespectful and laughable.
