Not a great fight but looking at the division he's probably 10th in the division in my view.
Ward has beaten Smith above the weight, AA has had Smith again and Steiglitz again, Jack has had the lesser Dirrell and Groves. So DeGale's year of beating the better Dirrell and then Bute stack up well against all of those. DeGale and Jack have had impressive years overall.
As an opponent the two things in Bute's favour are that he has only lost twice and he has power. So it's a lot more interesting than when they keep reusing guys like Judah and Malignaggi.Comment

Andre Dirrell is better than anyone on Golovkin's resume. So is Bute for that matter.I'm not hating on the guy though. I'm just waiting to see him fight some of his more leveled contemporaries who aren't shot.
And GGG > Degale, obviously. In resume and performances, Golovkin shows he's far and above the level of the crop of the decent opposition he's faced.
2 world title fights and he's already ****ing on Golovkin's entire 5 year reign as champion
