GGG- Ward must come down to 164

Ward cleaned out his Division while some HYPE JOB from Canada decided to take it easy while everybody at 168 was fighting each other and he wanted to show up after the dust settled looking for a shot? Well we see how Bute Career has turned out compared to Ward
We were talking Ward/Kovalev, and obviously Ward didn't clean out the division since he didn't fight the one other top guy - but since Froch beat Bute, that miss went away...

As far as Golovkin, I agree he doesn't want to fight Ward, atleast for now (just like Ward/Kovalev). But at the same time Ward's not trying to fight Golovkin. He could've made an offer after Golovkin beat Murray and Ward just signed with RN - instead he said he wanted tune ups. He made his only offer after Golovkin/Lemieux was announced.

And why is there seemingly more pressure on the guy who hasn't cleaned up his division to move up when the guy who 'cleaned' up his division years ago gets a pass to gradually move up if he does decide to?

Golovkin and his camp spent the better part of two years talking ****, building their name off of some foolish thought of every fighter being afraid to step in with him; they kept throwing around Andre Ward's name, and Ward's taken that a bit personal and wants to simply make an example of Golovkin and his camp.

If you're going to talk all of that mess, you better be well and ready to back it up.
That's the thing, he isn't going to fight ggg, ward is a diva to negotiate with he thinks he's worth more than he is that's why he lost all those lawsuits and is now broke and desperate for a big money fight. To say GGG built his name off ward is idiotic, he built his own name by knocking people out. If anything ward is the one using his name to stay relevant, who has he fought since he drained Dawson? All ward has done is email hbo saying he wants 50/50 ha. Sorry but roc nation isn't going to wait around for ward to squeeze back down to 168 and wait for ggg, they are a corporation and chances are they will probably make him fight kov.

Why not fight Kovalev? it seems to me all this GGG talk by Ward is BS to avoid the Krusher at 175, this fight seems more realistic to me, we all know Kovalev is eager to fight anyone.
Let's do it at 170. I want to see it!

I could be wrong but from what I have seen thus far I don't think either fight is particularly competitive. Both guys could catch Ward with a big punch, but I doubt it. I think Ward will be even better at 175. I also think he'll be able to hurt Kovalev, which I think a lot of people are overlooking.

              Loooool. It's embarrassing really.
Its unrealistic because die hard GGG fans aren't very confident he'd beat Ward.

Why not 175? If you think 170 is fair for Kovalev vs Ward you have to think that 163 is fair for GGG vs Ward.

So Golovkin has to fight Ward right away and not test the waters at 168 first, but Ward is allowed to fight one or two fights before Kovalev? Right...makes sense.

Golovkin built his name punching out bums, while Abel Sanchez/K2/HBO continued to shill him as the indestructible wrecking machine whom everyone within 20 pounds of him was afraid of.

Lara steps forward for a fight; Team Golovkin say no, arguing that Lara's name doesn't bring anything to the table, instead opting to fight Willie Monroe Jr, a fighter who just barely got his face onto even Friday Night Fights.

Then, the moment it even starts to look that Andre Ward may be on the verge of being able to earnestly take the fight, the entire Golovkin hype operations ****s a brick, immediately now trying to sell "getting all of the 160 belts" as Golovkin's new tagline.

Team Golovkin has now screwed the pooch, in their move to put Golovkin-Lemeiux on PPV; Cotto-Alvarez is going to happen at least twice and WBO champ Andy Lee is already looking likely three other fights that are better.

Golovkin is likely to get a decent taste of that PPV money, the only actual fights in the cue are barely good enough to get on regular HBO, and Andre Ward will be standing there, after a likely wipeout performance, on a PPV that will likely be seen in at least 700k PPV homes/parties.

With Miguel Cotto literally on his way out, Andre Ward IS the fighter that Roc Nation is seemingly building their company around, so there's no rush (Ward easily has another 4-5 years before the body breakdown starts to begin). Ward being south of 175lbs three weeks before the Paul Smith fight also gives you the sense that he's not "squeezing down" all that much either.

The moment that Ward gets officially confirmed for the Cotto-Alvarez PPV is likely the moment the GDF sheds that solitary Native American tear. lol

Team Golovkin was more than happy to proposition Froch and Chavez Jr (who would likely walk into the ring for any potential fight at over 185lbs) without the need to "test the waters at 168 first", yet Ward at 168 is such an insurmountable challenge that Golovkin fans are insisting on warm-up fights? lol
