Enough with GGG vs Ward, How about Ward vs Kovalev?

Everywhere I go I see fans arguing about Ward vs GGG matchup even though it's almost unrealistic. GGG fights at 160 and it appears he won't be outgrowing that division anytime soon. Ward used to fight at 168, his last fight was at 172. Why not fight Kovalev? it seems to me all this GGG talk by Ward is BS to avoid the Krusher at 175, this fight seems more realistic to me, we all know Kovalev is eager to fight anyone.

Ward has been a LHW for some time now, so yeah, this is the most relevant fight for him. I'd even go for Ward v Pascal/Stevenson. All good fights, make them happen.

But HBO are building towards GGG v Ward at some point next year.

Even though he is more established than most of the contenders at 175, I think he should earn a shot at Stevenson or Kov...he shouldn't just leap frog when he has done nothing in the weight class

If he beat a top 10 guy, especially top 5....then make those two fights happen as soon as possible

Seems to me GGG is busy cleaning up 160, Ward vs GGG seems unrealistic based on the weight difference, C'mon that fight isn't going to happen anytime soon Ward last fight was at 172, Kovalev is on HBO aswell only 3 pounds north. To me it's obvious ward wants what he thinks it's an easier fight in GGG and doesnt even mention Kovalev in fear that it would spark interest.

best fight in boxing is kovalev - ward at 175. both teams have been in talks.

i'd post a link to a dan rafael article with relevant interviews, but a bunch of you have enough bias to discount the testimony of their promotors, who both say they're looking at the fight in the future.

just get ready to pay for it. that's all i have to say about the fight. if you want to watch the best fight in boxing, which this is, you should be willing to pay for it.

both guys aare at the point where they can't fight top opponents on regular HBO or showtime. their purses are too high. they'll be on PPV.

ask for the fight. don't stream it, either. be a man and pay up, or ask mommy and daddyf or the $70 it takes tow atch the best fight in boxing
