why do you hold him to a standard that you don't hold the rest of the middleweights? because they won't fight him because he's that good? i don't see you asking them to move up from the "kiddie table." i don't understand what goes into deciding that golovkin has to fight at SMW in order to "graduate from the kiddie table." he's a middleweight. it' not his fault he's good enough that his most reasonable opponents [the two highest paid fighters in his range are cotto and canelo, who fight at MW,] won't fight him.

he's been at MW for a long time, and isn't outgrowing the division.

Firstly, no he wasn't. He lost more than five times.

Secondly, it doesn't matter how many wins you have if you only fight bums like Golovkin and Chavez Jr. They are cut from the same cloth of inflated records because their handlers only allow them to fight bums.

He can stay at MW his whole career for all I care. Just don't expect me to rank him very highly for knocking over no hopers when there are genuine tests one division north.

After Canelo, then what? Andy Lee? Really?

Had Broner stayed at lightweight, and gone on the same bull**** "unification" crusade GGG is on and all his fans are clinging to. There's a good chance AB would still be undefeated and we'd be talking about him as the potential P4P heir apparent. The difference is AB had more critics than worshippers thay wouldn't allow him to feast on the Vazquezs, Figeroas, and Abrils of the world like GGG is being applauded for doing.
You're way off, as usual. Broner didn't move up cause of critics, he moved up since he was ballooning huge and had trouble making LW, and cause all the money fights were up north. That's why fighters move up, and neither is the case with Ggg.

amateur records are not well kept. most of the sources indicate that he was 345 and 5. some are evidently dis*****g that, saying he lost eight times. he must be a bum!

              Froch is telling the truth....

GGG is not a top ten fighter. I think he's an intelligent fighter and has skills however he hasn't fought anyone to say he's definitely an elite fighter. GGG has fought primarily under size fighters. Even if he beats Canelo or Cotto they both are undersized MW. When Ward/Lara called him out he declined. So I wouldn't put him in the top ten till he beats some legit names that are actually his size.

"don't expect me to rank him highly when he's too good for his own division."

do you at least have golovkin at the top of your middleweight rankings?

froch retired, dirk. you can give this stuff a rest. i really don't think he's coming back. if he does, i expect you to demand he fights at 175

I don't know why people expect others to rate Golovkin so highly. Is he the best Middleweight today? Without a doubt. Is his resume good? Nope.

The best name on his resume is a D class fighter.

                      Stevens?

                      Murray?

                      Willie Monroe?

                      Geale?

They all weighed more than Golovkin on fight night...
