Digger you simply can't keep golovkin out the top 10 p4p list...it's that simple.....it's objective whether he is number one yes.......to me froch is just being a fuxkin idiot....no one will fight golovkin and who he has come up against he has dispatched easy...people forget but Martin Murray should have got the decision against Martinez even in his back yard...and at the time Martinez was ranked high as 2 on that list...and golovkin butchered him....so a pound 4 pound list is simply based on titles and who you have beaten in your career.....well Roy Jones jnr is still active he has won against countless hall of famers....won world titles at different weights seeing as we are judging who beat who..could he beat kovalev ......a pound for pound list bull****......simply put golovkin can beat any middleweight in the world and if canelo is say ranked at five....triple GGG will beat him so that makes him at least 4 in the so called p4p list ...dirtpot diggler there's your answer

          Golovkin didn't " butcher " Martinez.

And the bold is ******ed. P4P has nothing to do with head-to-head.

Legacy-wise so far, Canelo > Golovkin.

          Divisional supremacy, Golovkin > Canelo.....

..... except, that is only because of Mayweather. If Mayweather had retired without campaigning at JMW then Canelo may have been just as dominant..... especially considering the fact that he fought everyone including all of the world-class opponents, and Golovkin has not.

What is the criteria for P4P ?

Current relevance + divisional dominance ?

Whatever it is, lets decide on that before any further discussion.

Yes you can. Quite easily. P4P is based on resume and skill level.

Resume - If beating Martin Murray gets you on the P4P list, then you must have very low standards.

Skill - Knocking out a bunch of no hopers isn't all that impressive to me. It shows he can punch, it doesn't show any great level of skill.

Can you? Why do Golovkin fans always hide the the names of his opponents by saying things like that?

You obviously are ashamed of his resume yourself if you have to do that.

the middleweight division isn't terrific, but golovkin has beat the heck out of many of the contenders. others won't fight him [quillin, jacobs, cotto, and alvarez.]
I don't rate someone P4P based on the perpetuated myth that no one will fight them.

Same thing happened with Paul Williams. Everyone rated that guy so highly based off the hype of people being scared of him. I knew he'd get exposed when he started facing better competition.

Williams at least took risks unlike Golovkin whose people are more than content to play it safe.

For those that don't have GGG in their P4P at least be brave enough and post your P4P list. It's easy to say "YOU HAVE HIM RANKED? LMFALFALFALFMAFOAMFO" and then then don't post your own list.

                    Post your list or stfu.

GGG offered to fight Froch at 168, while he was at 160

Froch talked crap, and then retired, largely believed so he didn't get spanked and sent to the woodshed.

Easy to talk crap when your retired and no longer in danger. Became real quit when fans were asking him to fight GGG.

Go figure, just like Ward, talks after GGG moves on.

GGG came out and said they offered to fight Ward in front of HBO, Ward turned it down, a report Ward never denied. Likely because HBO would have told the truth.

Froch needs to shut his trap if he doesn't want to get in the ring with GGG.
