Hearns is the type of guy that Floyd avoids

Tommy was a stupendous boxer with great power. His weaknesses (chin, legs) would not be opportunities for Floyd, with his brittle fists and distaste for mixing it up. Floyd dances to UD's against smallish opponents who lack slick speed and skills.

We see another of these threads every couple weeks. Enough already.

Duran was past his prime and Benitez was hardly Hearns' best performance. Like I said in my first post Hearns is all wrong for Floyd style wise. But I'm not sure who would win so I didn't vote. I just posted my opinion.

Hearns would knock him out with a jab.

Hearns is too big, too black and too good for Mayweather.

We know Floyd doesn't like fighting those kind of people.

Everyone Floyd faces is half his age and 15lbs heavier. Even Marcos was 17lbs heavier! Read my comments on page 3 and 4! This fight is a whitewashing by Floyd! Hearns lost to lesser fighters, and even tho he faced Legends, he has never had the deck stacked against him like Floyd.

Floyd has ALWAYS been the smaller, and older man on many nights! And in a later age, was dominating giants. The circumstances of his victories, makes his resume much tougher than Hearns and SRL, no matter what legends they faced! They'd never go into a fight being a nonpuncher, and 15lbs lighter, and dominate without being touched!

                      - Its hard to say what would happen, but the more I think about it, the more I think Hearns would of destroyed him. Just to big and long and Hearns hands were extremely fast, his hands were faster than PBF, and Hearns punched in combination, 4-5-6 punch combos. He beat Benitez, and Benitez was nick named El Radar for a reason, he was slick and defensive. Floyd is just to small, not taking anything away from Floyd, he is still an ATG, but this fight wouldnt even be fair in my eyes.
