The Herrera fight was a gift not the Peterson one IMO. That one could have went either way.

Except Khan's fights have been more entertaining overall, which was part of my point. I never once said Khan didn't look vulnerable (See at least if you're going to try and refute my points, stop bringing up things I actually didn't say). I was trying to say he was more impressive than Garcia and clearly had more entertainment value and at least clearly won all his fights against Algieri and Alexander (former champs and top 5 ranked at 140 and top 10 at 147). Just because you believe in your own lies that Khan was underwhelming doesn't mean it's true.

There's really no way to deny the fact that if a fighter performs poorly in the public eye (I'm using Garcia here as an example but could literally be applied to most fighters), his viewership is going to suffer (unless he's a DLH or Pacquiao or Mayweather type fighter). That's literally what I've been saying but for some reason, you can't comprehend that. You REALLY don't think a fighter's ability to draw a crowd/viewers (never mind Garcia for a second but any fighter) isn't negatively affected by poor performances? Because that's what I've been saying for 6 pages. Like literally been saying (that people won't think Garcia will be competitive and combined with his poor performances, there's not as much intrigue coming into the fight).




Except the real problem is you want to discuss what you think the reason is as to why he didn't pick Garcia (Haymon). I'm actually talking about what the thread is about. The thread is about Garcia not being competitive so obviously I'm going to talk about the group of fighter's abilities to be competitive against Pacquiao in relation to their ability to generate money.

So unless you want to stick to the topic, just shut up. I don't care what you think the "actual" reason is. I'm here talking about the statement made and how that actually ties into the fight and the economics surrounding it.

See as I said more double talk. Still haven't addressed the fact that even after the poor performances Danny Garcia still drew more then every fighter currently in consideration, which goes against your point. I never said bad performances don't affect a fighters viewership, what I said is Garcia is still the bigger draw in the US, which he is. The thread is about why Arum is not even considering Danny Garcia, so I have infact been on topic, but I guess that was just a clever way for you to not have to deal with a point that doesn't help your argument. What you're trying to do is justify Arum's statements using poor logic, because in reality no one thinks Pac vs Garcia is a boring fight. Then you say Arum learned from his mistakes, which is another amusing quip from your convoluted mouth, like Arum hasn't been doing this for 100 year already, and he's just now learning? And the reason you've been going through this for six pages is beacuase you won't let go of the titanic.

Funny thing is I don't even think Pac should dight Danny Garcia next, I actually think he should fight Khan. I just find you to be ill informed, gullible, and agenda laden. I am also amused about how you subtly change your points to support your poor argument.

Garcia Got Gifts, Not Competitive For Pacquiao

Top Rank CEO Bob Arum explained that he won't consider Danny Garcia as a possible option for Manny Pacquiao's next return - because he says the Philadelphia fighter would be battered in a one-sided bout by the former eight division world champion.

Pacquiao's trainer, Freddie Roach, would love to get Garcia in the ring for his fighter. Arum won't even list him as an option.

Truth be told, Garcia's style would play right into Pac's hands. He's a stationary target for Pac. Brook or Khan would be a much tougher task for Pac.

Arum knows that fight would be next to impossible to make given his situation with Haymon therefore he took the opportunity to take a shot at Garcia.

..... and yet will likely still land his best punch on Pac in that fight.

Also, Garcia hooks reasonably textbook, until he is under presssure, which is when GARSH comes out. Go watch the GARSH fights.
