Right. All Garcia has is a left hook and Manny is only really susceptible to the right. He'd chop Garcia up with ease and stop him. Top Rank CEO Bob Arum explained that he won't consider Danny Garcia as a possible option for Manny Pacquiao's next return - because he says the Philadelphia fighter would be battered in a one-sided bout by the former eight division world champion.

Pac arguably lost 2 of the first 3 fights with Marquez before getting clocked with that right hand in the fourth fight that iced Pac....TB arguably got a gift against Pac in the first fight and Rios was definitely awarded a gift against Abril....so Mr. Top Rank should think before claiming gifts was wrapped up and put under the tree

What is "best punch"? Obviously those punches didn't mean much in the end because he didn't lose to many of the 60 opponents that he faced over his career. JMM landed his "best punch" in the 4th fight but most opponents get broken down and outworked.

Pac easily landed his best punch (straight left) on Floyd several times and he is supposed to be the best defensive boxer of our generation. That argument can be used for virtually any boxer.

But using that argument for any boxer doesn't get Pacquiao KTFO.

We are talking about a dangerous style matchup.

If Rios hits Pac with his best punch, no problem..... if Algieri hits Pac with his best punch, no problem..... if Bradley hits Pac with his best punch, no problem..... if Matthyse hits Pac with his best punch, no problem.....

..... but if Garcia hits Pac with his best punch, a punch that generally only comes out when he is put under pressure or when getting touched up.....

That is likely an unnecessary risk at this stage as you really have to be on point defensively against one-punch guys.

Could be wrong, but I am guessing that is why Garcia has been completely written off as an opponent and yet Matthyse is still an option.
