At $10 a ticket??? Of course he could. Lol but forget 40k at $10, Cotto as filled up MSG to 20k bro and real ticket prices. He's considered a big draw because Puerto Ricans and fans support him. He's always in a good fight or knocking a chump out if he's a chump. Doesn't go twelve with lesser opposition. Why do care about his personality?? This is boxing. Lol I bet you're a big Floyd fan and love "money" persona right??? That's what gets u fake boxing fans off.

Cotto is one of the best fighters that will give you **** for the buck.

        Rarely in a boring fight.

Takes a risky fight every once in a while.

Gave Margarito a fight when majority wouldn't take the risk.

Floyd was scared when confronted by Margarito, Cotto took the fight even though he lost the first fight(yes, he made tons of mistakes that he corrected in the rematch).

He should be on the P4P list because he's done more than some guys on there.

Top 10 of this generation. A hater wouldn't even have him there.

Very well skilled offensively, one of the best offensive fighters in the world. He has pretty good timing and underrated speed.

Give him props for donating to help fight cancer.

Floyd ducked him in his prime like a BITCH!

Would of favored Cotto over Mayweather in his prime. I would of cheered for him just like I did when he fought him. Floyd waited for him to lose to Pac and Margs. Floyd is like a hyena, a fucking scavenger.

Cheered for Cotto in him vs Pac(a boxer who really earned my respect the hard way).

Thought he won vs Clottey/Mosley, fights that many people thought he lost.

So none of you Cotto nuthuggers have any fucking room to call me a hater. If you think I'm a hater still for thinking what I typed then you can go fuck yourselves.

He's closer to the Ken Norton of his era then Ali/Frazier. But his fans don't seem to accept that.

Cotto is a great of this era. He still has some fight in him, so his career is not finished just yet. And he already is a 1st ballot hall of famer, no matter how jilted fans want to say otherwise. His peers and industry journalists have already made that distinction, and they are the ones who will cast that vote when it comes up.

And since when has survival been a bad attribute in a fighter? The term, live to fight another day, doesn't seem to have a place among the young knuckleheads these days. They'd rather a guy die in the ring, or get permanently damaged, instead of back peddling or clinching when necessary? Comments from those are pretty much a given that they have never been in the ring, or any form of combat sanctioned or street. Those are the real cowards, criticizing a person that actually lives and bleeds for the sport we love. They ain't real fans.

Cotto is definitely one of the best of his era but he's never accomplished anything close that resembles greatness. A good fighter who always gave us entertaining fights.

I'm a Cotto fan, but I can respect those who have well thought out criticism of him. Nothing wrong with differences of opinion. It shows all true boxing fans have knowledge... but some things appeal differently to some than others. I don't call everyone who criticizes Cotto a hater.

As far as haters go, the one who sticks out the most on this particular thread is the guy with the gay Hulk Hogan avatar. He's got so much Cotto hate I imagine he practically grinds his teeth and foams at the mouth when pounding out his posts. Gotta be careful there, dude. Don't want to get hooked on Tagamet this early in life.

Would and did are 2 different things my man...

He fought more in their prime tough fighters then the so called TBE..and Cotto is not my favorite fighter, not even close, but I am entertained every single time I watch him fight. for those reasons he gets my respect.

You're a hater, bra. You post in every Cotto related thread with something negative to say about him. You like to appear that you're a objective fan, but you have an unhealthy obsession with him and this post isn't fooling me.

You'll be back to calling him a ***** and criticizing his every move soon enough but blame your hatred towards him on his "stans".
