Money has to do a lot with these "warrior" type guys. When you see them take **** money with risky fights, that's a real warrior. Not saying Cotto isn't a warrior but he isn't all that what people make him out to be. Gotta give him props for taking more risks than Floyd though. Cotto is one of the best fighters that will give you **** for the buck.

Rarely in a boring fight.

Takes a risky fight every once in a while.

Gave Margarito a fight when majority wouldn't take the risk.

Floyd was scared when confronted by Margarito, Cotto took the fight even though he lost the first fight(yes, he made tons of mistakes that he corrected in the rematch).

He should be on the P4P list because he's done more than some guys on there.

Top 10 of this generation. A hater wouldn't even have him there.

Very well skilled offensively, one of the best offensive fighters in the world. He has pretty good timing and underrated speed.

Cotton is garbage. I honestly hate him for how much of a fraud he is. No other fighter has had so much lucky breaks. His personality sucks too he seems like an ******* **** cotto

He ducked GGG. He took a full year vacation with the middleweight title. He defended his 154 pound title against unranked Mayorga. He defended his 154 pound title against Margarito at a catchweight of 153 after trying to make him fight at 150. He fought Martinez at a catchweight of 159 and he fought Geale at a catchweight of 157. He ran backward in the last 5 rounds of his first fight with Margarito and again ran backward in the last 9 rounds in his fight with Pacquiao. All in all Cotto has been a good fighter and a good champion but he has done many things that lessen my respect for him. If you think he is this wonderful, perfect champion then good for you and you have every right to pick your favorite fighters.

yea its sad. Hes done more then other boxers who get praised on here.
He also gets a lot of hate for taking a knee in the margarito fight. Wraps or no wraps
he took a lot of punishment in that fight and was a bloody mess. Many feel he should have just died for their entertainment lol. Mind you how many boxers have quit out of frustration. Many quit on their stools. But yet their allowed to. Its just hate.
