I think we can all agree here, Clinton Bacon >> Harold Johnson.

    What's Eder Jofre's ELO?

    Lower than Fighting Harada's surely?

100% true. A lot is genetics, but science plays a big part.

And most people dismissing Marciano have no clue of boxing history or how greatness is defined.

Fact: Rocky's KO win over old Joe Louis > Floyd's win over past prime Manny Pacquiao who has already been KTFO6 by Jmm.

Fact: Rocky beat all time great heavyweights, you can say they were past it but so were Oscar, Mosley, etc.

Fact: Rocky was a real man, Floyd was an IV drug cheat and a coward.

Fact: Heavyweight > Welterweight. We remember the Alis, Tysons, Louises, and Marcianos. Who the fk is gonna remember little Floydie 50 years from now?

Boxrec has Mayweather at #7 all time so what's his ELO?

Marciano is #19 so doesn't that mean that he has more ELO than him?

So doesn't that mean Mayweather>>>Marciano according to your backwards line of thinking?

So what are you even arguing?
Im not arguing Marciano is greater than Mayweather. p4p all time, Mayweather is greater than Marciano, owing to his longevity, and longer championship career.

Marciano beat the far more impressive opposition though.

2 of his opponents are ranked higher than Floyd all time p4p. 1 of them is ranked #1 ahead of Sugar Ray Robinson...

A 3rd is one of the most underrated fighters of all time, in Jersey Joe Walcott, who should have had a win over Joe Louis, and Knocked out #4 p4p all time Ezzard Charles with one of the craftiest moves of all time.

Lets not forget that Moore, the #1 p4p of all time by boxrec, was the last fight of Marciano's career.

That would be like Floyd finishing off his career facing Roberto Duran from the first fight against Leonard.

But unfortunately, Floyd doesn't even have a single win approaching that quality in his entire career.
