But GGG might well accept a CW, if he was offered good money for it.
You won't know about this, of course, but Golovkin just weighed in lighter than Canelo did for his last two 30 day weight checks, and is naturally the smaller of the two men. Still a MW doe.
But whatever, if GGG turns down a CW, then whoever is holding the WBC belt will have to either defend it against him at 160, or vacate the title.
