They don't want the fight, they had to find a way to duck it due to the pressure. Any ways it's good because he can concentrate on unifying the 160 division, but I don't want to hear the excuses about people not fighting him.Comment

At the arrival of the 2nd sanctioning body, it occured to most people that there cannot be two legitimate champions within a single division.
But now you asshats are happy with 4
Even the simplest of boxing fans should be able to see that having 4 genuine champions is impossible, and even the simplest of boxing fans should be able to see that the 4 sanctioning bodies exist solely as a money-making enterprise and that not one of them places the sport of boxing above their own profit margins.
They have ALL been charged with corruption, and yet you all happily line up to sing the party line.
People are sheep, plain and simple.

OK, breaking news...... the best middleweight in the world is currently Gennady Golovkin. You can ignore all of the rankings/opinions/guesses blah blah rubbish..... just trust me, I am correct.
Oh, and if any of you are horribly confiused by the 4 official sanctioning bodies, the 17 divisions, OR the 80-or-so "champions" that are currently running around..... just flick me a pm, I am always happy to help. There are 17 champions in my world, I either..... 1) know who they are..... 2) know who needs to fight in order for clarification.
And good luck finding clarification about ANYTHING when you support, therefore condone, 4 inept corrupt INCORRECT sanctioning bodies.
If you can see that the " rules " are absurd, unjustifiable, and horribly flawed..... then why play by them ?

Nobody likes the way the sport is run nowadays. But that is no justification for you singling out GGG and his fans for abuse and trolling attacks.
You say there should be just one champion in every division, and GGG is trying to unify his division - middleweight. You should be supporting him, not vilifying him the way you do.Comment

I understand that now Mayweather has retired, the fight between Canelo and Cotto will be to determine the best JMW on the planet.
They are the two best 154lb'ers available.
They will be weighing 155 or less.

A guy who weighs 153, but fights middleweights..... is a JMW who is punching above his weight..... exactly like Mayweather did at JMW, he was a welter fighting above his best weight..... but you may refer to Cotto as a middleweight if you wish, I am sure he has been called worse.
The catchweights are unfortunate, and completely unacceptable.
Oh, except if he fights Golovkin of course, because Golovkin has no problem wthi catchweights according to Andre Ward.Comment

2) Gennady Golovkin is OBVIOUSLY not this " avoided killer " that his team attempt to make him out to be..... he is clearly subject to the exact same risk/reward decisions as every other fighter
3) GGG clearly wants nothing to do with Ward, and I dont blame him

Actually, it is Golovkins abject failure to even attempt to live to his hype and the subsequent condonement of that fact by his fanbase, that is the issue.
Case in point..... Golovkin has used that "A-side" thing with Ward, so he has to at least acknowledge that Cotto/Canelo will be the "A-side" if they fight..... and yet he refuses to even consider a catchweight despite Cotto weighing 153 last time out.
That is lame, and your support of that is disgusting..... especially considering the fact that you said any boxer who calls out a smaller man and then refused to even discuss a CW, would be viewed as a cherry picking coward.
If Team Golovkin refuse to consider a catchweight knowing that Cotto will be forced to vacate, despite stating on numerous occasions that Gennady can make 154 and will do so for Mayweather..... then he chose to walk away from a HUGE payday to fight {insert name here} for a vacant title..... and you guys are gonna all hear about it.Comment
