we mayweather fans enjoyed every fight.

If you think Pacquiao was exposed and taken apart, please show the devastating fight highlight reel that shows this? For every half-decent Floyd punch (and most of them were glancing) I can show a hard shot landed by Manny. That's not taken apart and exposed.

Floyd edged rounds and got given a generous margin of victory based largely on perception. It was a very close fight in reality. Mayweather's offense was largely pitiful. He got given credit for the pace of the fight and defense; Pacquiao got given no credit whatsoever for his defense when Floyd could barely land a solid blow.

Nacho's clearly telling the truth. Hopefully Mayweather's deplorably boring career won't have rubbed off too much on boxing, and when PBC goes bust in a few years there will be some semblance of professional pride and aggression brought back into the game.
          Yep

Great PED user. That's about it, bub.

You only got to understand boxing to see Manny was out classed , he was shut down to a peep no other fighter has controlled Manny in that way he could not do anything , thats ring generalship and it takes a master boxer to do it , this is not baseball bats down the park its professional boxing and science has almost always beaten Braun when it really counts , at the end of the day boxing is a speed sport and Floyd was more than one step ahead of Manny the whole way .

Floyd is boring to the majority of casual fans because his opponents cant force him to stand still and fight , they cant cut him off they cant catch him even when he is right in front of them its like Pazienza said you cant hit him with handful of rice , the few that have forced the fight Floyd stood toe to toe with them and still beat them , give the man the credit for being a great boxer because he surely is .

Or are the losers the guys that attach themselves to a winner just because he is a winner, or because he shares common characteristics with them. Floyd's a joke man. You've been worshipping a fraud this whole time.

Im glad hes gone now as well. Im tired of telling him who he should fight to become TBE but he never listens. I mean, just how much persuasion did Duran need to fight Hagler? Probably not too much.

Now Floyd is saying he is too old to fight a middleweight? Well why didn't you get your skates on and stop dithering and maybe you could have achieved so much more by 36 of age.

Im telling you again Floyd. Fight GGG at 160 and all you got to do is survive 12 rounds and you get into the top 10 of all time, because as of right now you are bordering top 20. And top 20 is being generous to Floyd, because its not who he fought and the risks he took that got him to no20, its because his defensive skill and ability.
Just use that skill set to survive 12 rounds with GGG. Run, clinch, pot shot show the whole repertoire you maestro. If necessary get Cortez to be ref as well. Nobody will criticise you.

I don't find Floyd boring, and I don't disagree that he is a master boxer, nor that his skills were on display for all to see against Pacquiao - as was his anxiety.

Here's the thing; you give Floyd total credit for "shutting down to a peep" of Pacquiao. The reality is that Pacquiao had become more conservative way before he fought Mayweather, considering he threw over a thousand punches against the likes of Margarito and Clottey (may not have been a thousand, but close to). Against Algieri it was just 669 punches.

Was Floyd more than one step ahead of Manny? Depends in what regard you consider "being a step ahead" to be. Yes, he was almost always moving away from Manny. However, offensively, who landed the better shots? It is hard to argue Mayweather landed anything on Pacquiao that compared to the shots that rocked Floyd in the middle rounds. Pacquiao seemed to think that was enough to win him the fight, but he wasn't getting credit in the quiet rounds - many of which were really 50/50 and not the "domination" showed by the total farce AKA compubox. Floyd was poking his jab out at times, but racking up "numbers" when there was nothing on it. Pacquiao was throwing body shots, which Floyd notably didn't, none of which seemed to get counted.

Take away Lampley's "LEAD RIGHT BY FLOYD!" (but actually blocked by Pacquiao) hype style commentary, take away the two interns mashing buttons for compubox, and take away the crowd who were cheering air punches by Pacquiao but not appreciating his actual good work on the inside, and it comes across very differently.

Pacquiao had to fight more tactically. He needed to get in range with his left hand without throwing a right hook because that was risking hurting his shoulder more. The only way to do that was to draw the lead right by Floyd and counter it - which Pacquiao did a number of times successfully. Had he just charged forward Victor Ortiz style, Mayweather would have lapped it up.

Anyway, it's all said and done, all finished and over with, and Floyd won. Pacquiao should have postponed the fight if his rotator cuff was that badly hurt, and that's not Floyd's fault. (I'll leave the IV controversy out of it, as shady as it is.)
