That's why your seeing more and more ****** threads, especially that one about the standard for defensive fighters.

Considering the circumstances, that was the worst fight I've seen. And yeah, Floyd didn't take apart anyone. Two of the worst performances I've ever seen.

there's nothing wrong with the STYLE that floyd employs.

its HOW FLOYD EMPLOYS THE STYLE that is the problem.

he could more exciting if he wanted to. instead he rips off the fans by finally "fighting" like at the end of the de la hoya fight trying to throw fans a dishonest bone. or just not give a F like during maidana fight where he literally ran the entire last round.

that's not how you end a great game, a great movie, a great book etc...

its how he employs the style that is the problem not his style itself. the excessive clinching and LITERAL RUNNING passed off as boxing wizardry by ignorant floyd fluffers.

Greats put on a show. Michael Jordan, Ali, Tyson etc know how to close a show. Same goes to movies. A movie flops if the ending is bad. Floyd's game is so monotonous from the start to middle, and to finish it's always boringly bad. That fans seems to want their money back. The crazy thing is he still fooled too many boxing fans into buying his fights coz he is so damn hated lol

Good riddance Floyd. Just by retiring you saved boxing from having hope in bringing back excitement in boxing. Enjoy your retirement Floyd and be proud for being the biggest scam in sports history Froid.

Nacho is a hall of fame trainer, i respect his opinion but disagree some not all of his point, Am glad he is gone too but for other reasons. Now all the other fighters at his weight can fight each other and he can't be blame anymore for everything in boxing.

Nacho is a wise man and is correct. Floyd was a great fighter and went undefeated, quite an accomplishment. But not many exciting memories, no exciting moments in 49 fights. That's kinda sad if you ask me.

Even his retirement is a fraud, Floyd will surely comeback for a rematch with Pacquiao cause he can not sleep.

the old stale nacho is butt-hurt because he can't train any none boring fighter to beat and complete fighter likefloyd mayweather jr. all have tried and all have failed. there's no blue print of any style to defeat the greatest fighter of this era and one of the all time greats.
