At the end of the day this is a combat sport. Floyd had the ability to close the show against several opponents but chose to play it safe with a points victory. It works for him but it does nothing for the paying fans or the sport itself. When Floyd fought, all you would hear after the fights from the masses is how boring it was and/or how he fought like a bit*h. Even SRL commented during one of Floyd's fights. Something along the lines of..."you must close the show if you're dominating your opponent. Give something back to the paying fans". Floyd truly didn't care about the fans.

You on it. Manny Steward observed similarly, offering a contrasting example in Ray Robinson who went for the kill when he could.

I mean, late in the 12th, Floyd had Berto on rubber legs, clinching to survive. There it was, a golden opportunity to secure a KO for his finale; instead, he ran along the ropes till the bell sounded. pppfftt.

Highly improbable that Leonard, Duran, Chavez, Hearns, Hagler, Arguello, etc, the true greats, would've done the same.

I couldn't agree more with Nacho. Too bad the only ones missing him are the one's who suffer from insomnia in the first place. I mean who else is going to have the pleasure of putting us to sleep, Rigondeaux?

Mayweather's last fight against Berto was such an incredible display boxing! It was big budget PPV boxing at it's finest and everybody got their money's worth! Anybody who didn't pay dksab and missed out on the greatest, most entertaining, most thrilling fight in history!

Nacho only trained the guy who KO'd Pacquiao cold. Nacho is nothing but a hater! Haha!!

Nothing wrong with Pacquiaos shoulder in those clips.

He couldn't throw right hooks. That's the punch that really activates the rotator cuff. Don't forget, adrenaline etc numbing the pain. It would have just hurt to throw a right hook, which he used conservatively until he landed a counter which rocked Floyd, then he threw several in the 4th before hurting it again and backing off when Mayweather was turtled on the ropes, and then we barely saw again after 4th round. In fact there were several times he cornered Floyd then "flurried" with only the left hand.
