What he needs to do is fight at least 3 times per year against top 10 rated SMW contenders. That will get him back on the bottom of the list. I don't care about 'what ifs'. What if Sturm had fought GGG 4 years ago in Germany? What if Martinez had fought GGG instead of Cotto? What if Cotto had fought GGG instead of Geale? I can consider each of those blatant, cowardly ducks to be victories in the GGG column.

I just ignore them. I like Ward's skills but I wouldn't call my self a HUGE Ward fan like the case with Floyd.

So in this case, I can avoid the ****ery.

It's funny because I was a HUGE Ward fan during and after the Super Six, then he lost me with his bull**** lately and I became one of his bigger haters. I'm still not back as a fan, but the need to defend him against all the ******ation I see on NSB is making me look like I'm a huge fan again.

So the #2 P4P fighter in the world hasn't had a PPV yet, hasn't even been on an undercard PPV, had a comeback fight that NO major network which showcases boxing would air, & hasn't won a big fight in 3 years? Yep, sounds like the #2 P4P to me.

Ward already passed the criteria to be high on a p4p list years ago. He doesn't need to prove he's that good, he already has. You keep acting like he hasn't fought at all since he beat Froch and Paul Smith was his first fight since. He beat a top 10 SMW in 2013 and missed one year. Now he's back. We already know he's one of the 5 best fighters in the sport. He's not ranked at 168 because he still hasn't fought at 168 since Rodriguez.

Everyone knows what this is really about. Your fear is so obvious I can smell the piss in your pants through my screen. It's okay, Ward being back in the ring isn't so scary.

So then Pac should still be number one. And why not leave Floyd on the list. His accomplishments should be enough for him to remain at number 1 for at least another 4 years of inactivity. Even if he is retired. There is always a chance he might come back.

I have more stringent criteria than beating one contender at a catchweight every 2 or 3 years. The way you rate fighters, you would be happy to come home with the best looking girl at the ugly girl contest.

So Ward ISN'T one of the best fighters on THIS planet?

He was at one time. Until he fights a top contender today, I have no idea where he ranks. I certainly will not put him back on a P4P list because he beat a fat, out of condition, poorly trained, lazy excuse for a prize fighter in Paul Smith.

You can't use Transnational to back up one point while you slag them in other threads. Most sources consider the RING title to be the lineal title. Ward was stripped by RING. The lineal title has as much weight in the boxing world as P4P lists. In other words... none at all. Unless there is a sanctioning body behind a title, it means nothing.

Do you see Ward on their P4P rankings? I don't.
