It should have been a draw, imo. There was nothing between them at all.

I've watched it twice - and it was tedious, second time around - and I couldn't have found a winner except by flipping a coin.

I was team Groves but Jack won a close but clear fight. I had it 115-112 Jack, crazy how some british pundits had Groves winning. No way it was a draw or win for Groves unfortunately, vicious body work by Jack who landed 52% of his punches. Very good jab and utilized the high guard well, Groves didn't land anything clean.

I wanted Ugly Kid to win too but I don't see how you can score the fight for him.

He was knocked down and hurt badly in the first round. He barely won any rounds decisively - neither did Jack to be fair but Jack looked in far more control whilst Groves was very erratic.

Groves seems to fall short a lot with his punches now. He doesn't seem to have the same snap on them either and as usual, gassed in the later rounds.

Everyone goes on about the Froch KO punch but it was body shots from Froch before that which tired Groves out. Jack was landing some nice shots to the midsection which were folding Groves over.

        Jack clearly deserved the win.

Didnt keep a scorecard but it was close. Draw looked fair to me. Groves was coming forward and doing the work like a man possessed, Jack was doing less but was more accurate and effective.

And really, to me, what stood out in this fight was the effectiveness of the punching is what really separated the two. Both guys were landing clean headshots all night, but at no point did Jack seem affected by Groves power punches. A jab threw him off balance late, but otherwise Groves just couldnt seem to take anything out of Jack.

Meanwhile Groves was tough, but those shots from Jack were damaging. He looked beat ragged by the end of the fight. Credit to him though, he damn sure didnt come to lay down.

He didnt win, but I think he did enough to call for a rematch.

Groves lost a close fight. No way he won, but it was competitive. Groves always seems to have stamina issues, combine that with the excellent biddy punching of Bayou and you get Groves who didn't have enough in the tank after round 7 or 8.

I was very impressed with the continued body attack Bayou displayed. I think he found the key to winning against Groves. Groves had absolutely no defense of the body, he was eating solid punches to the body all night. Badou was basically hitting the heavy bag on Groves. Those punches systematically broke him down.

All in all the fight was enjoyable for the most part. Badou appears to only be getting better. He has some good skill coupled with decent pop, mental fortitude, and great conditioning. He could have a decent future ahead.

He's had three shots at a world title. He doesn't deserve another right now

He lost clearly. He needs a better trainer. I think he's like 2-3 with Paddy Fitzpatrick. Needs to develop other parts of his game.

                      I had Jack winning.

Worse case scenario is was very close.

                      Groves delusional as always.

                      I'm so happy he lost.
