A rematch would different, I think, and DeGale would be favourite to win it.
I had DeGale winning the first tbh.

Keep in Mind George Groves is very Average and cries

Groves is a complainer and a cry baby who whines and makes excuses. Froch KO's Groves twice and Groves still thinks he won both Froch fights. Brits are complainers and babies. George Carrot Face Groves is a weak kid inside who does not posses the intestional fortitude to be a champ ever. Quit crying Wimp and move on. Go tell that 100 year old queen your troubles.

I like Groves but he's wrong here.

It was a close fight and i think Jack just edged it. It Groves had got the decision i probably wouldn't argue against it because you could find a way to score it for him if you really wanted and have a good argument for it, but Jack just edged it for me.

Read the comments of both fighters from the write up of the Groves vs. DeGale fight from BoxRec.com. I believe the contrast is telling: "Close fight where many observers had DeGale Winning. It was a tactical affair where Groves used his movement to avoid Degale's punches and looked to counter of the back foot
Frank Warren (DeGale's promoter) called for an immediate rematch. "The general consensus seems to be that James won the fight, so they should order a rematch," said Warren. "I don't think George's team will be interested, but there's no-one else for him. It should happen straight away.
"One way or another that fight will happen again. If it doesn't happen, George Groves should be ashamed of himself. I haven't found one person who thought George won that fight and I'm sure he's got a lot of pride and he wouldn't want it to be like that. I'm sure he wants his victory to be an emphatic one."
George Groves dismissed rematch talks. "How many times do I have to beat this man?" asked the champion. "After this fight I'll go on to bigger and better things. He has no titles, he's just come off a loss, I'm pretty sure I can find a better opponent than James DeGale.
"I've always said, once I've finished with James DeGale I've cleared up the domestic scene and I'm looking at bigger and better things. Possibly I can see it happening a few years down the line, when we've both got different versions of the world title. He's got a good promoter, I'm sure he can get there, he'll just have to take a different route from me. I'm taking a more direct one."
James DeGale questioned the decision. "How can a challenger nick a fight on the back foot like that?" said DeGale. "I thought I hit him with the cleaner shots, I hurt him in the ninth round, and the last four rounds I won easy. He can't be proud of that win. He beat me, but he nicked it. I want a rematch as soon as, but we'll have to see what Frank and the Board do."
Jim Watt, ringside Sky Commentator, had it 115-114 for DeGale."

In general Jack was just a bit better. More accurate with his shots and blocked return fire better than Groves did. Him vs Dirrell or Ward would be ugly at times but those are the best 3 in the division and worth seeing.

Just checked boxrec and they have Anthony Dirrell above Badou Jack. WTF?

Ugly Kid's downfall has been one of the highlights of the past couple of years.

Close fight that could have gone either way, not a robbery at all, I had Jack a point up. Groves is a good fighter that can give many people trouble.

Same here, from what I recall I had Degale up by a point too, another close one that could have gone either way.

I thought Groves looked sharper for the first half but then seemed to gas, Jack was putting some good body work in so maybe he was planning to wear him down? I really enjoyed the fight tbh, can't complain with the decision (116-111 was a bit harsh) at all but honestly I wouldn't mind a rematch, it was a good, close fight.

I saw it 114-113 to Groves. I felt bad for him, because I can see how he'd think he did enough. I was in no way surprised by the decision, though.
