As of now that's the case I don't remember any PBC card that was good outside Mares Santaclaus....decent fights Garcia Peterson and.....maybe just maybe Porter vs Broner the rest is been Sh**y fights and at times almost unwatchable.

I never really saw Mares/Santaclaus as something huge because Mares never really fully recovered from that Gonzalez KO. I don't know what would equal GBP's Cotto/Canelo or GGG/Lemieux or even Postol/Matthysse in the Haymon side of the fence.

This Haymon personality has been pissing off a lot of fans with his marination crap.

I'd assume Richard can't talk about it. Certain things are customary in these type of disputes. And usually taking about company business after you've been let go or quit is one of them. If Richard says the wrong thing he'd probably get sued or throw into arbitration again. Thats why Richard is probably keeping things real basic & cordial.

They settled earlier this year, so yep, the public wont ever get the details unless theyre leaked.

Oscar is a fiend that did it to himself. Was Shaeffer supposed to go down with the ship, now that the addict was forcefully taking the helm? Of course not. Hell thats why 75% of the company and all the outside investors left. Now Oscar can only put out 3 fights of notice this year, and is getting crumbs from HBO in order to do it. GB will be around, but it'll be around like Don King Promotions is still around, and its all Oscar's fault.

He may do only 3 fight a year but of more substance than all of Haymon's fights in the last year and a half....Canelo vs Kirkland had a 2.3 million rating on HBO (Cable TV) compare to Mares vs Santaclaus 700K ESPN, 1 mill broner vs Porter 1.2 mill Garcia-Peterson and so on so for "IN FREE TV"

Don't know the special fascination about this Schaefer character. The guy was known to be spending more than he makes for GBP. That's what people in the business do with no diplomatic skills.

Haymon would be better off hiring one of those MMA producers.

That's such a weak argument and misleading. Canelo is the third or fourth biggest star in the entire sport. Canelo-Kirkland draw 2.1, which was Canelo's first non-PPV fight in like two years.

Mares vs. Santa Cruz drew 1.2 million and peaked at 1.6 for main event. That's pretty damn good considering Santa Cruz and Mares combined don't have Canelo's star level.

GBP Boxing is so much better off without Richard Schaefers fat greasy face being around in the ring. Schaefer stabbed Oscar and tried to be Oscar and Sleaze Shaefer got fired for being a slime ball liar. Oscar was kicked while down by the de****able low glory hunting Schaefer who wanted Oscar's publicity and fandom but was hated everywhere in boxing as a backstabbing crook in bed with the boxing pimp skinny buck tooth Haymon. Schaefer needs to be banned from boxing and sent out of the USA.

While Hoya was doing..... " whatever "..... Schaefer built up GBP.

Then suddenly, (after getting caught, and whilst his star fighter was preparing for an opportunity on the biggest stage imaginable) Hoya decided to turn over a new leaf and do another stint in rehab.

Upon completion of that stint in rehab Hoya was desperate to rebuild his image with the fans, so he jumped on the opportunity to stoke the Mayweather/Pacquiao fires by insisting that he was the only man who could make that fight, and that he needed to patch things up with Bob Arum first.

That was nothing but a desperate attempt to repair his tarnished image.

And that desperate attempt walked all over Schaefer, the ships captain, who had already proven publicly that you cannot enter into a business arrangement with an inherently dishonest man.

I definitely dont blame Schaefer for walking, what could he do ?

Stay, and watch Hoya take 10 steps backwards, in a vain attempt to repair his tarnished reputation..... a reputation that was not negatively affecting the day-to-day running of the company?

Oscar should have kept his personal issues seperate, and he should have had the common sense to see that working with Bob Arum is impossible. It is absolutely impossible to do business with someone who will lie to your face...... by repairing fences with Arum, he broke all his fences with Schaefer...... Schaefer, his captain, the guy who had been keeping his ship afloat.

I dont think Schaefer is blameless..... but he could not work with Arum as per Hoya's instructions, and if Schaefer had done anything illegal he would still be in court today.

In the time since Oscar & Bob have made up what have they done together that wasn't some mandatory sort of fight? Seems like that whole makeup thing was much ado about nothing to me. They both had some big names & I don't recall anything happening. And post-Haymon Exodus Oscar still gots a couple players around 140/147 & Bob gots some nice guys around that weight & nothing is happening.
