GBP, represented by Schaefer, got a mere $2 million as promotional money from the Canelo vs TBE fight. That's all they got.Schaefer's only leverage was being able to add his fighters on the undercards. But then, they're no longer GBP fighters at that time. They were Haymon fighters.

Earlier, you stated that GBP made nothing..... well, 2mil is not nothing.

Why should GBP have made more than 2mil, they didn't build Mayweather ?

Aside from the 2mil, and aside from having GBP fighters on the undercard..... being aligned with Mayweather was a huge benefit to GBP.

Mayweather was effectively just leasing their promotional license and leveraging off their contacts.

I never said anything about the Dela Hoya vs Mayweather fight, which was a completely different matter. Hoya was controlling every cent in that fight, so you need to separate that fight doe. Mayweather was a nobody in that fight.

$2 million was not a profit and it is not much for a promotional money in a high profile fight. The state-wide tour alone would used up every cent of that figure.

I only mentioned Oscar vs Floyd & Floyd vs Canelo in my post that you commented on by saying:

So my assumption was those were the two PPV's you were referencing. Anyway I'm still failing to see GBP not making anything on Floyd fights based on your assumptions a tour costed 2M or GBP would be responsible for those costs out of this 2M price you bring up. I definitely think there is an upside in promoting one of the biggest fights in the history of boxing, but I don't believe Oscar (sober Oscar or high & panties wearing Oscar) or Richard would be dumb enough to be involved to lose money or break even.

Just for the record, Oscar didn't have a business before Richard. GBP bought Roy Englebrechts business and used it as a template to build GBP from scratch. Richard then turned GBP into what it was. Oscar was the face and Richard was the brain.

That is true.....

And Schaefer was there from the start.

Regardless as to what changes Hoya wanted to make within GBP following that last stint in rehab, he should never have stepped on Schaefer's toes.

If GBP suffered any negative effect due to those changes, then Hoya let his drug habit affect his business, no question.

Schaefer/GBP should have been completely unaffected by Oscar/rehab/12-step program.

Oscar is a fiend that did it to himself. Was Shaeffer supposed to go down with the ship, now that the addict was forcefully taking the helm? Of course not. Hell thats why 75% of the company and all the outside investors left. Now Oscar can only put out 3 fights of notice this year, and is getting crumbs from HBO in order to do it. GB will be around, but it'll be around like Don King Promotions is still around, and its all Oscar's fault.

GBP Boxing is so much better off without Richard Schaefers fat greasy face being around in the ring. Schaefer stabbed Oscar and tried to be Oscar and Sleaze Shaefer got fired for being a slime ball liar. Oscar was kicked while down by the de****able low glory hunting Schaefer who wanted Oscar's publicity and fandom but was hated everywhere in boxing as a backstabbing crook in bed with the boxing pimp skinny buck tooth Haymon. Schaefer needs to be banned from boxing and sent out of the USA.

Schaefer is a dirty rat, the guy is about as crooked as they come. He swindles ODLH to get Hymen boxers and then takes his payoff on the road. ODLH is going to win in the end though. Although he doesn't have the stable that PBC does, the quality of his cards are much, much better.

As of now that's the case I don't remember any PBC card that was good outside Mares Santaclaus....decent fights Garcia Peterson and.....maybe just maybe Porter vs Broner the rest is been Sh**y fights and at times almost unwatchable.

It is laughable to think that Schaefer was afraid of Oscar and went to him "shaking and nervous". Think about his background and track record. Oscar lied to the public and even his wife about EVERYTHING then came clean when caught and Richard has never lied about anything. Richard was always upfront with Oscar and if Oscar wants to continue to play the victim then so be it. No one knows the other side of that story - unless you were in the office. 2 sides to every story but [SIZE="5"][SIZE="7"][SIZE="5"]Richard is too classy to say what went on.[/SIZE] Can't wait till Schaefer is back in boxing.

Idk about that. Granted they cant fall too far cuz they got one of the biggest draws in the sport & in a week might have the #2 draw in the sport & #1 within a year, year & a half. So things aren't as bleak as some like to act & actually GBP gots 3 decent to great fights coming up with their 3 biggest name fighters so theres that. They definitely took a fall doe. They had the best roster in the game not that long ago (even if some where only there on a fight by fight basis) & now they only got 3 notable guys on the world scene, 1 which is most likely gonna get KTFO soon, 1 who seems of the backend of his career & 1 who might be the #1 guy in boxing soon if he can just keep winning.
