I don't buy that because if it was in settlement aggreemnt then Oscar would also not be allowed to talk about it. Both sides are probably not allowed to talk about the financial aspect of the settlement but Schaefer not talking then or now is more about damage control then court ordered or afraid of being sued.

Oscar can talk about his company. Why wouldn't he be? Its Richard who's no longer able to talk about company ****. Sure both sides probably can't get into the arbitration proceedings specifics, but its not like Oscar is saying details very specifically either about what Richard did exactly, he's just confirming the rumors everyones known for over a year now.

I do agree there is damage control going on here doe. Oscar is trying to drum up some sympathy & some hostility towards Richard now that his non-compete clause is over & it could hurt his job prospects & Richard is trying to move on cuz nothing good is coming for him for talking about all this stuff.

Luckily for Oscar, Arum was there for him..if it wasnt for their renewed "working relationship" we wouldve never had gotten fights between...errr...um....ahhh...uhhh. hmm. I was initially riding with Schaefer and Haymon when all this was happening until i learned exactlt what Schaefer had done..so dirty, im sure even Arum was impressed. Although my opinion of Haymon has since changed, i feel he was good for boxing in the sense the status quo had changed between fighters and promoters. Without having an exclusive promotional contract, the fighters themselves hold the leverage..thats a game changer and is indeed great for the sport. This whole ordeal was definately bad for the sport as a whole and set the sport back a few years actually. GBP has since recovered and Haymon had yet to deliver a quality product. Fk Arum too!! just wanna note that.

Yet people want to ask "How Haymon is bad for boxing?". This is bad precedent. If you are willing to go this far to fk someone out of their company how far are you willing to FK the fighters themselves. We see the million dollar purses, hear about the 5% he supposedly takes off the fighter themselves, but we also hear about the "can't talk negatively about Haymon" aspect to it. So why that last part if it's such a godsend? Usually people doing grimy shhhh want to prevent you from ever talking about it. Yeah it's business but as I said before every promoter in this game is f'ing fighters one way or another, just because Haymon is a brother doesn't make him good for the sport either.

Yeah he got f.ucked over but Shaffer built that company, Why would anyone want to run a company while the CEO or figurehead whose job is strictly PR act a fool and embarrass the company hurting it's image while he reaps the majority of the profits. Friends or Family it doesn't matter business is business and when you become dead weight it's time to cut ties.

All Oscar had to do was keep his nose clean , wear men's clothes and show up to press conferences and he couldn't even do that.

**** him out of his company by offering him a buyout? As I've pointed out in previous posts, GBP was built by Schaefer, Oscar was it's namesake. Oscar and GBP Ring Magazine said it was a low offer. The offer was made by the same people who turned around and invested $300 million into PBC. I highly doubt they'd offer a start-up more money than they'd offer an established company. Once again, we're hearing one side of the story.

This is boxing. Show me a guy in a power position who's 100% a nice guy & I'll show you a real living unicorn.

I think Haymon showing fighters they don't need to sign long term sketchy ass contracts with promoters is a game changer for the business of boxing. I've been saying for years previous to PBC coming along big name guys who sign long term deals with promoters are limiting their value. There is more value for name brand boxers to auction off their next fight to the highest bidder. Haymon has made it possible for pro debut to champions not to need to sign a promotional deal.

Eh, bad move. Mayweather gots too much bad press & haters. Can't have your figurehead be a guy with that much bad karma/drama. Richard needs to be the figurehead of PBC. Maybe Richard can be the CEO of Mayweather Promotions & CEO of PBC idk. Mayweather should chill out, maybe try training some fighters, do a reality show & just count his money.
