  • I thought his win over Martinez was pretty good. Injury or not, Martinez doesn't go out easy and Cotto put a whoopin on'em.

      Now this is trolling people!!!

Mayweather hasn't fought a prime fighter that he can "think" of... Alvarez was as prime as they get!!! Guerrero although smaller was still in his Prime. Ortiz although stained with the Miadana loss, came off a huge win against Berto showing a tiny bit of heart and a hell of a punch!!! Miadana just came off one of his biggest wins, showing he still had what it takes but far from his best physical form but much wiser. Pac on the other hand far from prime, with a questionable "injury" but still a man 50% or more thought was gonna beat Mayweather and also the "fighter of the decade".

Damn, that was in the 6th round! Oh wow his knee ****** against Cotto's and he didn't limp at all walking back!

The 157 lbs cw against Geale was BS.

The 155 lbs for the Canelo fight shouldn't be a problem. He has NEVER weighed more than 155 lbs.
Ok, ok... Even if Martinez knee wasnt really so bad, he still looked like **** against mediocre opposition:

It took him 11 rounds to beat bums like Barker and Macklin. He was floored multiple times in last fights and Murray arguably beat him. Its crystal clear that Sergio was shot by that time.

Like I said before, Canelo is first really worthy opponent since Mayweather, win over him would skyrocket his resume.

That's an explanation right there. I agree. Was past his prime, but Cotto's past his prime years as well.

He fought Alvarez at a catch weight so it don't count. Remember he said the same thing about Pac when he fought at catch weights. Can't have it both ways.

Cotto has achieved more in the ring with his 'weak' resume than you have in actual life. Cottos career has obviously been a doddle, why don't you lace them up and follow the same path?

but the great ones have accomplishments that defend their resume.

now list cotto's accomplishments. all you guys can come up with is paper belts and mediocre wins.

list cotto's GREATEST wins and realize they weren't great wins.
