Hmmm, maybe you were not around as much back then but everyone but you seems to know that Williams was being avoided and had to try to find his fights in any of 3 divisions. Is that according to me? No, that is what Williams and his team would say in their interviews. "I can fight at 147, 154 and 160"

I provided quotes from Williams and his team calling out Floyd. So again, it is not me but quotes from them! Be it at 147 or 154, Floyd NEVER wanted to fight Williams.

Against someone like Floyd, he didn't need to fight tall. William's length would put Floyd in reach to hit with his 1000+ punch count. THat was William's game. His crazy work rate.

Thing is he gets hit alot and usually fought in pocket his reach wouldn't have been much of a factor he probably would catch Floyd couple of times throwing from an awkward angle but PW didn't have that kind of power

Williams had some problems with southpaws but Floyd is not a southpaw fighter. Even against Quintana, he adjusted and KOd him. Martnez had some pop that Floyd does not. So to say that Martinez had the equalizer that Floyd does not have. Even then, Martinez had just as much of a tough time than Williams. It was not a walk in the park.

Floyd would bring nothing to the table to get the respect. Williams didn't care if it was Margarito, Martinez, ..... so Floyd would not be fighting comfortably. That would spell trouble for Floyd.

Also, you bring up Williams record but I pointed out to you that Floyd fought plenty of opponents that had less experience at WW. In fact, some had NONE, some had 1 fight and maximum 2 fights and that was good enough for Floyd. Even if they were considered a relatively unknown fighter!!!!
