Exactly, I hope they don't even bother with him.

No one really cares about ole B-sides McGhee. I mean, does his fight even have to be televised at all? People might fall asleep prior to the main event coming on.

Of course if Mayweather, who never got a real KO in 8 years and will almost certainly go the distance whenever he fights, fought on the undercard everybody would be MEGA and say the card would be crazy-unreal-off the hook.

But for some reason Ward doesn't get the same respect. Despite the fact that he is the undisputed #1 King at 168lbs, #2 P4P and is IMO the only man who can beat Kovalev at 175lbs.
Yet, he just fought at 172 and refuses to move up 3 pounds to actually fight Kovalev. Dude isn't P4P#2 and he won't be fighiting anyone "elite" at 168 because it's a dead division.

This would be great, but not vs some bum, he's already had his tune-up, someone decent, in the top 10 at least.

His last couple of fights on HBO did great ratings.

They just need to get him a ****ty opponent that will make him look great.

the rhetoric you guys use concerning ward does not hide your fear of him. it does not hide it! you're whistling in the dark!

when you talk about one of hte best boxers on the planet like he's a nonfactor because he's a threat to your favorite fighters, race, geographical location, it's telling.

it's telling. i'm going to be here for a long, long time.

ali, louis, had layoffs. still cemented dat legacy doe!

i'd love to see a top 10 LHW myself. golovkin is not moving up to 168 to lose at this stage in his career. that fight is probably never going to happen.

kovalev and ward at 175 is the better fight, anyway. it will be more evently handicapped.

golovkin has been fighting contenders for hte most part. adama, willie JR were not, obviously, but the rest of the guys were at least in contention . he's also not getting any favors from quillin, jacobs, cotto, and canelo.

i mean heck, martin murray could easily have a W over martinez and have been MW champion of the world. it's a bad division.
