It will be awesome to the #2 P4P fighting on the night, it would really enchance the card. Seeing Ward put his elite skills on display and improving his unbeaten record would be nice, especially against an elite 168lber, which is possible giving the Cotto-Canelo PPV will almost certainly do over 1 million PPV's.

Of course if Mayweather, who never got a real KO in 8 years and will almost certainly go the distance whenever he fights, fought on the undercard everybody would be MEGA and say the card would be crazy-unreal-off the hook.

But for some reason Ward doesn't get the same respect. Despite the fact that he is the undisputed #1 King at 168lbs, #2 P4P and is IMO the only man who can beat Kovalev at 175lbs.

Put his elite skills on display? What good is seeing someone with "elite" skills fight someone that's subpar? How is that challenging? These groupies are getting out of hand. Be a fan of the sport for once.

I know Vargas is fighting Miura and it is most likely on the undercard for this PPV. Could you imagine how out of place Ward would be in such an event lmao.

Instead of the Latin Fury PPVs they used to have there should be Soul Brotha PPVs, that way all the extra-melanin having pugilists that have no fans like Andre Ward, Ishe Smith, Mickey Bey, Daniel Jacobs, Gary Russell Jr., Demetrius Andrade, Jermell Charlo, etc., have a platform for exposure.

The PPV won't sell as well if Ward is on the card.

No one wants to watch the boring prima donna clamp, clinch, hold and head butt.

He will bring down the quality and reduce the excitement of the event.

Ward should definitely fight on this card. Good exposure. He needs to just stay active, the opponent is irrelevant.
