I don't think that's what Hopkins said, if I remember correctly he mentioned that Stevenson's team was screwing around too much on the negotiations. Like I said a few pages back, Stevenson is the common denominator when fights don't happen, all of the other guys have fought each other. So are Hopkins and Pascal duckers now?

I don't believe anyone really cares about how much you know about boxing, I know I don't. I also don't believe anyone cares if you actually know more about boxing then everyone else on the forum, again I know I don't. I believe what they are concerned about is you proving what you say. Now, I will speak for myself, I am not a boxing writer nor am I in anyway professionally tied to the sport boxing, I am just a somewhat obsessed fan. Therefore I guess there is no real obligation for me or really for any of use to prove anything that we have to say. But even with that said in my opinion if you really want any credibility you should be able to prove your point with credible sources if asked. If you can't then just maybe that is why they may believe that you are full of 5hit.

As I said, nobody announces their true intentions with a purse bid, or any kind of closed envelope bid. But thanks for the link, now find one for that 1m HBO was allocating for Kov vs Adonis

Looked more like Stevenson and GYM wanted Bernard to take less money than they offered him initially, hoping that dragging out negotiations would make the IBF strip Bernard while another GYM fighter was being in position to fight for a vacant title vs Mohammedi at the time. It was a ****** move but we do know the minute Kovalev and Hopkins was made, Duva no longer pursued a legal fight with haymon once she got her fighter a unification. I wouldn't categorize Hopkins or pascal as duckers but pascal verbally said he had no intentions of fighting Kovalev for the WBC silver belt which warranted a shot vs Stevenson and ppl didn't criticize him.
