Ward sent an email to read after Golovkin/Rubio saying anytime, anyplace, anywhere. Then ends his promotional dispute and says he needs to have 2-3 tuneups. If Ward isn't getting Golovkin anytime soon, he needs to stop behaving like a p*ssy and take some real fights - Jean Pascal.
Nobody gives a **** about Pascal, if Ward moves up it needs to be Kovalev. Then we'll probably miss out on ever seeing Ward-Golovkin because Ward will stay at 175, but that's what the Golovkin fans want because they know he'll lose to Ward.

Why Pascal though, why not Kovalev? Both guys are low on options. If unproven hypejob Ggg is willing to go up and fight Froch in the UK, why would you expect anything less from far more proven Ward?

Ward mentioned he'd like to move up to HW eventually once or twice. Golovkin has been building his name on fighting anyone from 154-168. How is that even close to being the same?

Bottom line is Ward needs to start fighting real competition. He is going to make himself even more irrelevant if he doesn't. I've never seen a champion need more than one tune up fight. And he isn't even coming off an injury or off the couch. He was just inactive.

So what's the holdup with Ward Kovalev? Why isn't Ward pursuing it right now, instead of gunning for an Aussie scrub on an undercard?

You say nobody gives a **** about Pascal, but Ward/Pascal would be a major fight. It would do strong tv numbers and do a big gate in Oakland or Montreal. Put it this way, Pascal/Ward gets Ward back on HBO lol! You don't want Ward/Pascal because your worried your guy gets knocked off.

Mark my words, Ward retires before he ever fights Kovalev. This is a guy who rejected fights with an undefeated Bute and Stevenson yet called out guys who looked like **** in Chavez and Pavlik.

Everyone (apart from Golovkin fans) wants the Golovkin fight first and there's a big possibility we'll never get to see it if he moves up.

He's building his name by what he does in the ring. You think anyone out there is saying "man that golovkin is something, he keeps calling out Ward and other guys, he's great." No, that ******ity only exists in the minds of you goofs on here. Your idol fought a guy at a catchweight within a division he has title in. And yet here you are crucifying a guy for asking for a catchweight in a division he's never fought in. Do you not see how ****** that is of you?
