Only Golovkin or Kovalev are appealing fights to me, everyone else is meh. Kovalev wouldn't be an undercard fight and the Golovkin fight needs to come first if he's to fight both for obvious reasons.

Loeffler already said Ward requested the fight and they didn't even enter negotiations with Ward. So yes Ward did "do a thing" and no Golovkin didn't tell HBO he wanted the fight.
Ward-Golovkin is a bigger fight than Lemieux and would sell more PPV, Golovkin is guaranteed a shot at the WBC belt, fighting Ward wouldn't change that even if he lost. So those excuses are bull****.

Difference being, Ggg is doing great business in his division, and Ward is trying to fight Zac Dunn on undercard
