I always find these types of threads more of compliments to the mentioned fighter. If you have to dig deep into boxing history to find legendary fighters in order to beat some current boxer that's saying a lot.

- Thats not only in boxing, that happens in every sport. You always want to compare a currrent athlete/fighter againts past greats.

I appraise merely on boxing capabilities, excluding any and all forms of bias. If a said black guy beats a said white guy, so it is, and vice verse. The "race" card has zero bearing on any analysis.

On the "size" point- I issue it is relevant "actual" importance in any given contest. It happens to be an absolute irrefutable fact (proven by stats) that bigger is better (in most cases).

More the point size may overwhelm Duran here but that isn't true for taller Hearns and stockier Hagler is it?

GGG beats these guys on paper imo because he is simply better!
