I think only haggler has a chance on points against GGG. Firstly he would have to last the distance though, as nobody can do that right now.

Doubt it. Fighters from the past get too much credit. Was there even random blood testing back then?

I heard a story about Duran knocking out a horse once, don't know if it's true but I'm willing to bet he was on some serious PED's if it really happened.

Hagler definitely. Hearns is possible. But Duran never belonged at middleweight but it would be one hell of a slugfest before the end.

As much as people now want to hate on GGG, as if he is the next coming of Jeff Lacy but I'm not one of those people. Personally I can't hate a boxer like Golovkin. His style would have brought more appeal in the golden age of middleweights and I believe he would have held his own. Hagler, Hopkins, McCallum, Monzon, Hearns... They were all critized at one point of their career (not so much Hagler) for lack of opposition. Hearns although a great fighter had one hell of a glass chin, getting hurt frequently by lesser opposition. Monzon never left his land to defend his title, now would be raged on like no other and never moved a weight class... Hopkins outside of Jones Jr, didn't fight any great opposition till he fought an John David Jackson (who was not much of a great fighter) and an undefeated Glen Johnson. Both far from the greatest opposition (as many hypocritical fans would disagree).

Hearns had one of the worst chins of any ATG, he could get KOd by a breeze on his day lol So GGG has a punchers chance.

              Hagler undoubtedly is too good.

Duran...lol come on man. He was too small and GGG would hurt him BAD.

Getting to round 14 in a FOTY with a prime SRL is more chin proof than Golovkin has ever had to show. Hearns chin problems are overblown.

I wouldn't call Hearns glass chinned.

                      - Agreed, Hearns did not have a great chin but it wasnt glass either. And in order for anyone to get to that chin that had to make it passes his buzzaw combinations.
