You say that like it's supposed to mean something, like any fights that haven't been made for him, are actually Golovkins fault as a fighter. Can't take a person who makes such ignorant conclusions seriously.

I've said it before - hate the promoters and handlers all you want, but GGG is what boxing needs and is a likable fighter for all the right reasons, you don't have to love him, but don't hate him for fights that haven't been made, I don't even take "boxing fans" seriously when they say they hate Golovkin because no true fan of the sport would dislike such a fighter.

Why do people always look for a reason to hate a fighter, as opposed to embrace the reasons to root for them? I 'd love to hear a legitimate response to that.

Irregardless of why the fight hasn't been made, the facts are that if Ward wins by any kind of decision, he would never be the same afterwards. GGG would take something out of him, break him mentally.

I pick Ward to win, but I find it rather doubtful that someone who hasn't touched the canvas a single time in almost 400 fights gets stopped by a guy most known for ugly, boring decisions. He's only moving up 8 lbs, not 20. Stranger things have happened, but I'd be shocked.

It's laughable. And people are seriously underrating Golovkins defense. He is a master boxer.

If they were the same size, it would be 50:50 fight. They are more or less the same boxing ability. But given the fact that GGG is MW, and Ward is LHW I think GGG is 2 to 1 underdog. And that are not too bad odds for a such huge difference in size. It is like Ward fighting Klitschko. It would be 16:1, not 2 to 1...

I don't think Golovkin would lose that much power going up though. I get what you are saying, but I could see Golovkin not respecting Ward and letting his hands go with ill intentions.

The poll shows this is not a competitive fight.

If you're a real fan you would prefer the Kovalev vs Ward fight.

Look at the poll above and compare it with the Kovalev vs Ward.

People clearly prefer Kovalev vs Ward.
