floyd beat up a way past prime manny coming off a career ending type KO loss. manny's accomplishments eclipses floyd's. manny the more exciting and more loved fighter.

- 2000-2010 BWAA and ring magazine fighter of the decade (floyd will never be a fighter of any decade because he's a coward)
- 3 times fighter of the year same amount as ali (floyd only won this award twice)
- first 4 weight lineal champion
- 8 weight world champion (floyd has only won 5 belts in 5 weight classes)
- exciting wins over future hof'ers and fellow ATGs: barrera, morales, and marquez, etc.
- THE MOST EXCITING FIGHTER OF THIS ERA (floyd = most boring fighter of this era)

Yeah what you meant was you don't know boxing as well as you claimed. Manny is the greater boxer because a handful of critics claimed he is as opposed to thousands of fans? Come on don't be ridiculous.

The last time Floyd was an underdog was against Diego Corrales in a fight where he shut Corrales down. Floyd hasn't been the underdog because he is seen as so much better than the opposition. Being the favorite doesn't mean you will win, being the favorite just means people believe you will win.

Manny turned pro only a year before Floyd. He gets in more wars because his defense isn't as good as Floyd's. He's been in more wars, been KO'd three times, has been knocked down several times, and has still fought less world champions than Mayweather. Yet somehow he is greater than Mayweather? How does that make any sense?

Even when this fight was first being talked about, Manny had already suffered two KO losses, a loss to Morales, and two questionable performances against Marquez. There is no guarantee he would have done any better if they had fought five years ago. Floyd was faster and sharper five years ago than he is today.

I think he's the only guy to win Fighter Of The Year in 3 different decades also.

manny was declared fighter of the year 3 times (in the same years) by both BWAA and ring, which means he without a doubt deserved fighter of the year in those years no question. floyd on the other hand didn't deserve fighter of the year 2013 and ring recognized this. and floyd didn't deserve fighter of the year in 1998 and BWAA recognized this.

BWAA and ring each have floyd only winning fighter of the year twice. manny without a doubt won it 3 times according to BWAA and ring.
