Arum's already lining up Pac-Crawford, he has actually said it.

If Arum can get Khan in there with Pac he might do that instead but according to boxingscene Khan is still with Haymon so it seems unlikely.

All 3 fights would have to go GBPs way to say they are revived. However, Canelo is far and away the most important as long as he comes through they have the time and space they need to rebuild. Good thing for them he stands a good chance of that.

Matthysse is a very good fighter he just is not a star.

Lemiuex is kind of a star, but I just kind of question where he will be if Golovkin takes care of business like he is known to. Getting outboxed by a high end guy is one thing, getting totally demolished is another.

GBP is in a stage of rebuilding and from how things look like they are doing all the right moves. I guess it has something to do with the fact that Oscar was a fighter himself and has that mentality not to back off of challenges. Also Hopkins played a vital role when he decided to support GBP in this battle.
Last year GBP only had Canelo, but they signed Lemieux and recently Tureano Johnson. Good fighters with lots of entertaining value. Also GBP owns Ring magazine, which is a pretty valuable asset in boxing industry. I guess Haymon really wanted the Ring magazine, its belts and its brand, before embarking on creating his own league.

I'm impressed by Oscars ambition and dedication to bringing the company back. However I think Oscar is more of the Spokesperson rather then the guy making the serious decisions. I could be dead wrong but I think he's got a team of lawyers and investors who are running Goldenboy

I will join you all in praise of Oscar if he puts Canelo in with GGG until them he's O.K, nothing to brag about.

              Canelo/Cotto

After it appeared GBP was left for the dead after it lost 95% of it's roster, the company has bounced back and is putting together some great fights for the fans to close the year.

I don't have a side in this boxing cold war. I'm just a fan that wants to see the best fights getting made and Oscar De La Hoya is doing just that.

Gotta give the fishnet wearing coke head props where it's due.
those are his 3 guys right there thats all hes got

the problem with golden boy right now is they just dont have the platform to build stars.

Can you elaborate what platform is needed to build stars and what promoter has it then?

TV dates on a major network, sure he has some HBO dates but really how much are they trying to have Sadam Ali or Diego De La Hoya on their airwaves.

You don't need stars or really, any good fighters to exist as a promotion in boxing.
                      Just ask Haymon.
