How Oscar Revived GBP After Being Buried

3 of the best fights on the boxing calendar right now all involve GBP:

    Matthysse/Postol
    Golovkin/Lemieux
    Canelo/Cotto

After it appeared GBP was left for the dead after it lost 95% of it's roster, the company has bounced back and is putting together some great fights for the fans to close the year.

I don't have a side in this boxing cold war. I'm just a fan that wants to see the best fights getting made and Oscar De La Hoya is doing just that.

Gotta give the fishnet wearing coke head props where it's due.

He still doesn't get credit for those fights being made by most i notice.

It's always in spite of Oscar. Credit to him i say.

Oscar's putting on good matches and you gotta give him credit for it. Unfortunately a lot of fanboys don't like the guy cause he has an opinion on matters, but he was a very good fighter in his prime and as a promoter he's not trying to milk the game from a ****load of crap match-ups. Oscar, to boxing, should be remembered for far more than fishnets and coke.

GBPs isn't going anywhere. Especially with the Hispanic market.

I think its a bit early to say GBP is revived over 3 fights. If all 3 of his guys got KO'd is he still revived?

Oscar has always shown the desire to make good fights so he'll likely always be a interesting player in the game, but from where GBP was at to where its at now Oscar gots a long way to go til he's in respectable power position again

Love or hate Oscar, he's always been good for the sport. He has the looks, the appeal, and the talent to make sure everything he gets into turns out good.

GB isn't going anywhere, and I think these fights will be great for the sport and the company.

oscar has always been a little more willing to put his guys in tough fights than the likes of arum and haymon are. that's probably the reason so many gbp fighters jumped ship tbf
