You and I are in complete agreement. My earlier comment was in direct reply to diarraisagod who said that RR beats Floyd in MMA. I replied that if you think that RR beats Floyd in an MMA fight - You ( diarraisagod) must not have a clue. RR would not have a chance against Floyd. Period.

You are saying that if Chad Mendes had a full training camp to prepare for Conor that the rematch would go the same? Mendes took the fight on two weeks notice. I wish I could say that Conor's striking is so good that he'd beat Mendes each time they fought, but in fact Conor was fighting having had a full training camp, and Mendes was fighting having at best a quarter training camp. You believe that a well conditioned Mendes would not fare any better against Conor than when he had a two week camp? Two weeks means that Chad had no chance to hit his peak, and that difference alone could well have meant the difference of Conor escaping and scoring the stoppage or Conor not escaping and finishing the period on the ground in Mendes control. Look at it this way: what if it were Conor who had a two week camp and subsequently lost a fight which he was pretty much in continuous control. Would you not believe that Conor's chances in a rematch - where he had a full training camp - would increase his chances of winning? It was a fair stoppage. McGregor was teeing off on Mendes and put him down good with a straight left. Mendes dropped to the ground and gave his back to McGregor. When you give your back like that with no intent of fighting back that's fair for a stoppage when the other fighter starts wailing on their head - and that is exactly what happened. A rematch would go the same way or worse for Mendes.
Also - the announcers never said it was a bad stoppage or questioned Herb Dean. Don't make stuff up.

You're missing out on pure brutally and excitement bro
He might talk like Broner but he backs it like Kovalev!!Caner is basically MMA's version of Adrien Broner. This is something mma fighters have been doing for a long time, use Floyd's name to get publicity. The mma community is pretty ****ing dumb so they eat it up. Notice how they all talk about street fights (like they're crackheads) and none of them step up to boxing (and get embarrassed by a journeyman).
Such an immature mindset too. If anyone ran up on Floyd on the street they're getting broken in half by his bodyguards then arrested. Lmfao.Comment
