Honestly I will never get why, when any guy comes up in relation to Floyd it has all kinds of meaning and undertones that make it impossible to actually discuss the topic at hand.

It has to be all or nothing.

It is not like people don't talk tons of **** about Marciano's career and have for a long ass time. It is not like he is anywhere close to a top end measuring stick except maybe at heavy. Even at heavy it is not like Rocky is sure fire top 10 all time. So it is a very silly record (that I don't even pay any mind to).

If you have to think about that its obvious you got no idea , Louis was totally shot and should not have been boxing , Marciano was prime .

Manny and Floyd are about the same in how far they have slipped , they just lose different assets which effects their game differently because of their styles , it was the worst Floyd Ive ever seen beating Manny and the least accurate and slowest they were both way past their best form , if Floyd was prime he annihilates Manny because the fight is at around 135 , any where from 135 to 147 at anytime Floyd schools Manny , and as far as fighters go Manny shts all over Joe Louis .

But Mayweathers undefeated record needs to be considered in that exact same fashion.

Undefeated or not, it comes down to who you beat and when, with a much smaller consideration given to who you did not beat and why.

Evaluating everyone against the same standards is how historians compare fighters across era's.
