What next? Brook has to grow his profile in Pakistan or Dubai or something?

It's a British fight. It's never going to be in America or on PPV in America.

Golovkin is growing his name in America because Kazakhstan doesn't bring **** in terms of money.

I can see the reasoning behind letting the fight ripen a bit, but after their next fights (as long as they win) that fight will be about as big as it will get.

The more it sits out there getting discussed the bigger it gets regardless of who Khan or Brook beats for that matter (even though a big win for each would add even more excitement).

No one is saying it has to be an american ppv....

Im going to break this down as simple as i can...

If the thread question is if brook fights high profile fights would the khan fight get bigger.. Answer is yes.....
I don't know how anyone can argue against it.. The fight is big, but it could be bigger
This isn't me trying to protect khan, it just an answer to the thread question..

How can you possibly think that if brook had a win over maidana or marquez it wouldn't make the khan fight even bigger...

They need to have the fight next spring,, roughly the same time froth/groves 2 happened last year....

I would love to have it by the end of the year, but this fight needs to be in wembley so I'm willing to wait till next spring...

That works perfectly, although to fill Wembley they probably each need to bet someone fairly notable in their next fights.

But that's the only way what you are trying to argue would be significant. If America brings some huge extra cash flow. It doesn't.

You just keep repeating "bigger" without defining what that actually means.

You can argue ad nauseam that any fight could be bigger. It "could be bigger" in 2017, 2018, 2019....just a pointless endless argument.

It's as big as it could be in the UK which is where it matters for this fight.

                      No,,,,

If brook had some more high profile wins, more money gets made everywhere..
                      Higher ticket prices
                      Higher ring sponsors fees
                      Higher international broadcast fees
                      higher ppv price
                      etc
                      etc....

khan/brook happens now its a 10 million pot,,, if brook beats a maqruez or maidana type guy, it becomes a 15 million pot....

What would have been bigger-- witter/hatton or hatton/khan...... obviously it would be hatton/khan because they BOTH had huge profiles globally, while witter toiled away in obscurity even though he was one of the best 140 guys around..
