Ward's division hasn't ****** as much as middleweight.

Yes, a Youtuber hit on this and he even admit that he does find people being bitter its not just a certain colour/race in general it can be anyone and everyone but perhaps there is a higher case of race motivated fans with some.

Its like people hating on Timothey Bradley, I'd struggle to find anyone having a good reason to not like him or talk bad on him, its the same with GGG and other guys.

He was willing to move up to 168 to fight Chavez and Froch, but it suddenly became an issue when the prospect of a fight with Ward came up.

That's all that really needs to be said here.

Well he DID, at the time. Not so much these days.

So maybe that's incentive for Golovkin to do it.

Actually I think GGG vs Ward would be more competitive because GGG is more skilled than Kovalev.

Apart from all the useless racism between eastern europeans and african americans, there are some interesting points being made. GGGs best opponents are probably Macklin, Murray and Geale, all title challengers or former titlists. Hopkins best names excluding Oscar and Tito are probably Johnson, Mercado, Holmes....maybe, it's not exactly a strong list either. But he did unify titles and beat the best possible opposition out there.

Slowly but surely GGG is doing the same thing, wins over Lem and possibly Lee would further solidify his place. Cotto would seal the deal. All fighters can do to become great is to beat the best available, to become truly great, they have to fight the best in other divisions, unless heavyweight. GGG, after Lem, needs serious consideration of fighting Ward or DeGale or Groves/Jack.

LOL. If Golovkin is able to dust off a Canelo/Cotto in a ridiculous performance, make about 5-10 more defenses, leap two divisions at age 40 and whitewash the LHW champ...I will bow down.

Because Golovkin's camp had the gall to talk up how their guy whopps every fighter 154-168 before Golovkin even fought anyone.

If Golovkin had kept his mouth shut, folks wouldn't be gunning for his neck.
