Why GGG gets blasted for something B hop did ?

Blame Pac, Floyd and their ****** fanboys for this.Maybe not most but a lot of them.
Bhop and kostya were constantly brought up in those days for dominating there weight class for so long.
Moving up in weight was never considered mandatory thats for damn sure.
If you.do it.great, but it was never expected.
If ward and ggg want to stay in there weight classes no one should hold it against them.Comment

Hopkins and his team weren't screaming from the top of their lungs "We will KO anybody and everybody from 154 to 168!", only to backpedal when the best fighters at 168 calls you out. His fans were saying the same dumb **** too. "Most avoided MW in HISTORY!!!" "HIGHEST KO RATIO!!!"
Give me a fckng break.

The dishonesty of this post is rank and rancid. Hopkins, while @ 160, had been calling out a #1 P4P LHW Roy Jones for YEARS. The ONLY reason why Hopkins didn't move up sooner was because there was no big fight available to him in the higher weight classes. The FACT of the matter is, Jones and Calzaghe wanted *nothing* to do with him.
OTOH, there ARE big fights available to the Triple Duck @ 168 and 175. The whole "stick around and unify @ 160" excuse is a DODGE. Everyone knows Bumlovekin is gonna get his ass sparked @ 168 or 175...Comment

please dont act like this is just people who back floyd and his camp.....theres always the other side still lurking....the manny fans who need a new invincible hero to talk about it since their boy got sparked by jmm and beaten by floyd

Hopkins got **** for it as he should have. This old school mentality that boxing is the same as 30+ years ago has to change grandpa's. Boxing isn't as deep per division as it was back in the day. The talent is more spread out across different divisions now. Because of this, owning one division isn't impressive anymore, well as much as it used to be.
And as I've stated multiple times if MW was stacked like WW, GGG could have a case. Instead, the best MW's in the world are really JMW's who moved up. I keep hearing "you don't have move up if you don't have issues making weight." This is true, you don't have to. But look what it did for Cotto's legacy, he isn't a MW but it put him back on the map. GGG wants easy fights for big money, I'm fine with that too. But you need to have accomplished something in the ring first when you do that. GGG hasn't done **** and he wants to get the Floyd Mayweather treatment. And as stated, Bhop didn't put 3 weight divisions on notice then pick and choose who to fight after he ran his mouth.
Its funny that Lemieux is a next year option, but once Ward came knocking that fight with GGG and Lemieux got done QUICK. Pretty crazy how a guy who can't get fights, got one done in a matter of days.Comment

I would have never noticed it, but I see the same group hating on the Russian fighter. I don't even have to read their post.please dont act like this is just people who back floyd and his camp.....theres always the other side still lurking....the manny fans who need a new invincible hero to talk about it since their boy got sparked by jmm and beaten by floyd

Answer my question, which matchup is more competitive, GGG vs Ward or Kovalev vs Ward? Simple question if you're really following boxing.Comment

Hell no Hopkins beat a ton of bums at middleweight, you can't even name half the guys Hopkins defended his titles against outside of De la Hoya and Trinidad two welterweights.
GGG has certainly fought better comp at middleweight than Hopkins. And once he beats Lee and Canelo he'll start getting the respect he deserves.Comment
