This is guy special. His power is crazy and he has good boxing technique so props to John David Jackson for making him more technical. I honestly see no one beating him at 175, including Ward. I think he KO's Ward within 10 rounds. I think if he ever moves up, that's when he is going to get beat. Who do you guys see beating him?
Who do you see dethroning King Kovalev?

Honestly I gave this alot of thought recently. Ward is unbeatable at 168 but at 175 Kovalev is an animal and he doesnt care to throw you around and return dirty tactics if ward tries to excessively clinch and fight dirty. Plus he would be stronger at close range and would control distance just like he did on hopkins. Plus I doubt Ward could handle the power for 12 straight rounds without getting really beat up.
Adonis Stevenson would get beat from pillar to post and Ko'd in 5.
Beterbiev is fun to watch and apparently beat kovalev twice in amateurs. He's too green now and gets beat and boxing lesson schooled.
Fonfara would be interesting, as well as Gonzalez who kept coming against Pascal.
Kovalev is gonna reign king for a while unless someone gets a lucky punch that lands (beterbiev, stevenson)Comment

Agreed. I think Beterbiev is an interesting matchup and he will provide a real test for Kovalev but he's far too green at this point and even with being more seasoned, i still think Kovalev takes him out. I want to see Kovalev's chin really tested with a heavy hitter.Comment
