Who do you see dethroning King Kovalev?

Ward in all likelihood has the best shot. Stellar boxing skills (just wish he fought more so we could see them
. Kovalev has that killer in him and he enjoys punishing opponents. This should be a great fight. You know "The Krusher" ain't giving up so Ward will have to win on points.

Ward, Stevenson, and Beterbiev are the only competition he has at LHW.
I think he outboxes Stevenson and Beterbiev, possibly stops them, and kills Ward.Comment

Right now, Ward. But real soon, guys like Mekhontsev, Bivol, Gvozdyk, Beterbiev etc are gonna be up his ass and they can all beat him.Comment

I don't see anyone beating Kovalev for the next few years; maybe much longer. This is guy special. His power is crazy and he has good boxing technique so props to John David Jackson for making him more technical. I honestly see no one beating him at 175, including Ward. I think he KO's Ward within 10 rounds. I think if he ever moves up, that's when he is going to get beat. Who do you guys see beating him?
The obvious prospects are Ward, Benevidas and Beterbiev, but I don't see it happening.Comment

I think he will either have to move to cruiser or get old over night. Ward has a shot, he is definitely not a walk over but I think it will take a perfect fight to do it. Kovalev is a nasty, mean mfer and he likes to hurt his opponent which is kind of chilling considering he killed a guy already. Something like that usually cools the fire a little, I think it might have stoked the flame in this instance.
Beterbiev looks good but its early and the Glovsky guy (Im sure I butchered his name) seems to be heading to the same or close to it level of Kovalev but again, its early.Comment
