Anybody else notice that Ward didnt get all these "fans" until GGG started calling Cotto out?
Any who, Ward should take it or move up. These guys arent in the same division, some concessions have to be made..regardless of "168 for Froch doe". Whatever weight its at, GGG has a punchers chance...and FINALLY! Ward can move up! Face Kovalev which im certain he can win. As a patriot i gotta support my countryman in SOG for both fights..HBOs gonna have to find a new "great white hope"
no need to sugar coat it , catch weight are not good for the sport , its usually the A side the dictates it and usually its the guys that are losing weight that lose.Comment

Ward did this to himself. He sat out for almost two years, and he decided to stay at 168 rather than announcing a move to 175. Ward can fight 168, but he cannot make 164? I find that difficult to believe. GGG has stated that he'd cut to 154 for Mayweather, and as Ward is younger than GGG, I believe that he can cut to 164. If not, then Ward can chow down and face Sergey at 175. GGG is the greater draw at present, and as Ward has never been much of a draw, he's in no position to be setting the conditions. It's the ugly truth, but it's Ward's fault and his alone.Comment

Ward is getting 2 million a fight regardless. It hurts GGG because he looks like a fraud. He is this feared fighter that put 154-168 on call, but when the biggest possible fight that he can make right now presents itself he throws up roadblocks. The bold is what it comes down to. He scared of the talent, not of the fight, but just of the loss.Comment

So Golovkin is the only fighter who gets a pass on catchweights? His trainer is constantly killing Cotto in interviews about catchweights and this.... Truth is GGG is doing the same thing to Ward that Cotto is doing to him. They don't want a challenge, they dont care about the belt, they want a little guy with a big name.
Says he'll fight Froch and Chavez at 168 but Ward has to be at 164.
Boogie man my ass.
He wants no part of Andre Ward.
Let's not talk about how he dodged Lara too.
But everyone else is ducking....Comment

Wait wait but I thought it was his manager saying all this and not GGG? Let me guess, his manager told him to say this?
